I have been doing some business traveling for several days and that is why I have not been blogging lately. I have been in Gillette Wyoming and this week I am in Bismarck ND.
This post is not numbered because it is not focusing on an evidence directing showing that the Marvelous Work takes place in the third watch instead of the second watch.
I'll eventually resume providing additional evidences that but right now I am sharing some observations about the current financial situation our country is in and how the timing of these events may be prophetic.
Jeremiah 51 in an amazing chapter which speaks of the fall of Babylon at the "Time of Visitation".
It speaks of the graven images of Babylon and I realize that we worship many types of false images.. everything from the images on the boob tube to the statues of famous people to the fine cars and homes and all manner of toys that mankind has created through the workmanship of our hands... but I have wondered if some of the references to the fall of our images at the time of our visitation could be referring to our false money system and the false fiat money with pagan images on them.
We have been seduced into accepting a fiat currency that is backed by nothing other than the occult images on our coins and paper money. Notice how Jeremiah used the term images when speaking about the fall of Babylon:
"Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her. Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, saith the Lord.
As Babylon hath caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth." Jeremiah 51
Within the last year, the Fed's plunge protection team has dumped over 5 trillion dollars into the stock market in order to delay the inevitable.
Amazingly, most Americans have no clue that we are on the verge of a total economic meltdown of global proportions.
Gerald Celente is a futurist and the founder and director of the Trends Research Institute. He made the following statement back in December of 07
“In 2008, Americans will wake up to the worst economic times that anyone alive has ever seen... Just as they didn’t see 9/11 coming and were frozen in shock when terror struck, [Americans] will be frozen in shock when terror strikes again.... failing banks, busted brokerages, toppled corporate giants, bankrupt cities, states in default, foreign creditors cashing out of US securities…the stage is set, the big one is on its way.” Gerald Celente The Trends Research Institute December 17 2007 http://www.trendsresearch.com/
The more important reason to pay attention to the commotion in the markets, the emerging food shortages, wars and rumors of wars and the pending economic meltdown is because several prophecies point to 2008-9 as the time referred to as a transitional time leading to the time of "Jacobs Trouble" and the "Marvelous Work" when major economic, political, social and military commotions will begin taking place resulting in the beginning of the "time of the end"... the beginning of the eventual fall of Babylon and the ushering in of the Kingdom of God on Earth.
Although the US currency has enjoyed being the most powerful currency in the world for many generations, God is getting ready to do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon.
One of these prophecies that possibly points to 2008-9 as being the transition point that begins the fall of Babylon is given in the 15th Chapter of Genesis wherein our Father Abraham was shown in vision that a remnant of his descendants would wander in a strange new promised land for 400 hundred years in the latter days. During this time “blindness in part” is upon all Israel.
