BP Gulf of Mexico 2010 Oil-rig explosion catastrophic implications

It has become a city full of horror stories since violent tornadoes attacked Joplin, Missouri but two of these tales involving top secrets have caught the eye of a deep political analyst in Europe who stated today that the city's new 'Top secret morgue tale' and its secretive 'Tornado victims dying from an aggressive fungus' tale might both be linked to BP's 2010 Gulf of Mexico oil "spill."

It stands to reason that there is a strong possibility that these Joplin horror scenes are related to the Gulf operation that began with the BP oil-rig explosion April 20, 2010.

"Consider the very strong possibility that the Oil/Corexit/GM micro-biology is now being deposited throughout the Eastern USA as a result of evaporation from the Gulf of Mexico," stated former top oil executive turned top Gulf oil whistleblower Ian Crane today.

Crane adds that there could be "catastrophic implications."

When news reporters tried visiting the morgue in Joplin, Missouri, police prevented them and ordered cameras be placed in the back of the reporters' vehicle. MOXNews and CNN have covered this story. (See Youtube: "Secret Morgue in Joplin...WTH?) The reporters have been criticized for exploiting the Joplin story and for lack of respect for the deceased and families.

A health warning was issued last week in Joplin about an aggressive fungus killing tornado victims who were wounded. Some patients have had amputations to try to save them from the aggressive, rapidly spreading infection. Crane has evidenced that the Gulf of Mexico operation was a planned event and has repeatedly stated at lectures and in interviews that the Gulf operation is a depopulation event.

"The Gulf operation exhibits each hallmark of a contrived event and "will have long-lasting and far-reaching impact on lives of up to hundreds of millions of people," Crane has stated.

This is an urgent message! Read this and spread the word! Subject: Foreign Trade Zones. This is unbelievable at first, but you will soon realize that there are several motives for the global communists to physically weave our United States territory together with communist China. Each and every one of our state governors has approved and allocated a certain amount of acres of their U.S. state land to be inhabited by Chinese communists --communists straight from China! They are to set up little towns and live here, supposedly for the purpose of producing Chinese products for sale in the U.S.A. The land the states are giving them for their little towns will be considered "foreign territory"!!! We are told that the laws of the state (in which these Chinese communists dwell) will apply to the communist Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). Comment: If so, why are they allowed in here!??! Isn't the whole set up unlawful??? There are 257 of these little communist towns to be built all over the United States. Go to this website and see the list of the states, and how many FTZ's are to be erected in each and every state! Our nation is being peppered all over with these communist closed towns called "zones"! This insane brainstorm by Washington, D.C. officials was just recently discovered by alert citizens in the State of Idaho, where an FTZ is being built there, just south of Boise, Idaho, possibly 30,000 acres of Idaho is going to be used for that FTZ. When you get to this website, be prepared by having enough paper to print 40 pages, listing all the FTZ's to be built over the whole United States! 257 of these FTZ's! It is absolute insanity!! How gullible are we??? The excuse given for creating communist towns all over our nation is that these Chinese people will produce products for sale in the United States, and the FTZ will eliminate overseas shipping costs of the products they create! A bizarre excuse!!! Can't we manufacture our own products anymore with American workers? How foolish are we to allow this??? Remember the hard-learned lesson taught to gullible people back in ancient times, when the Trojan Horse was built and they pulled it past their protective gates??? It is a known fact that China has been preparing for war against the United States! Many guns are pointed at us. Why should these FTZ's be allowed??? What is the real reason?? Is it that Washington, D.C. needs foreign help to disarm American citizens (who have privately-owned firearms) so that the federal administration can comply with Public Law 87-297, signed into law by J.F. Kennedy for "general and complete disarmament of the United States"? It is a law continually financed by Washington, D.C. That's the law that calls for us to have no more army, no more navy, and no more air force, all of which is to be transferred over on a permanent basis to the communist-dominated United Nations! That law also prohibits all firearms from being owned by American citizens!

Without firearms, there will be no more liberty, freedom, or justice in government. Guns are the main core of the check and balance system. Our nation's founders realized that firearms in the possession of the people are the indispensible safeguard upon which all of the other rights in the "Bill of Rights" depend! That's why the Second Amendment was meant to be honored, treasured, and preserved!

Some people are wondering if the American land in these FTZ's is being given as collateral for the huge debt we owe to China? Some people are asking: "Does China own us and is our land collateral in case we don't pay the debt?" China is allowing American businesses to get established in China as FTZ's. Americans must build the structures in China, and they must employ all Chinese people to do the work in what is built there. After a short amount of years, the Americans must vacate, leave the buildings and let the Chinese keep the technology and the active operation as on-going. What this amounts to is transferring American technology and management to communist China.

FTZ's are also known as SEZ's (Special Economic Zones) Please relay this information to all your friends. Someone has to answer for this on state and federal levels! What a set-up for sabotage, espionage, and a study on how to take over the whole United States in a war! Waste Places of Zion Part Two

The righteous portion of the Gentiles and House of Israel do not gather to the waste places of Zion as soon as the servants return.

Zion and her appointed stakes might not even be waste places when the servants first return.

The servants of the Lord will take the gospel to all the world and establish local churches all over the world.

When the wrath of God is finally poured out upon the Mother of Harlots, the power of God will descend upon the churches of the Lamb of God even though the Churches of the Devil are gathering around them to make war.

At this time wars and rumors of wars are breaking out all over the world.

It is when the wrath of God is finally poured out upon the Mother of Harlots that the work of the Father begins and the fulfilling of the covenant takes place which gathers the righteous geographically to the waste places of Zion and her stakes.

By this time, the Lord has scourged and laid waste the lands of Zion to cleanse them of the wicked inhabitants encumbering those lands.

Notice how 1^st Nephi 14 reveals this sequence of how the Church of the Lamb of God is first established in small congregations all over the world and then eventually the work of the Father begins and the saints are gathered to Zion and her stakes in America-

· Saints are first established in local churches all over the world.

· The mother of abominations gathers against them

· The power of God descends upon the congregations of the Church of the Lamb

· Wrath of God descends upon the church of the Devil

· The saints of the Lamb of God are geographically gathered to fulfill the covenant of the Father

6 Therefore, wo be unto the Gentiles if it so be that they harden their hearts against the Lamb of God.

7 For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men; a work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.

8 And it came to pass that when the angel had spoken these words, he said unto me: Rememberest thou the covenants of the Father unto the house of Israel? I said unto him, Yea.

9 And it came to pass that he said unto me: Look, and behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.

10 And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.

11 And it came to pass that I looked and beheld the whore of all the earth, and she sat upon many waters; and she had dominion over all the earth, among all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people.

12 And it came to pass that I beheld the church of the Lamb of God, and its numbers were few, because of the wickedness and abominations of the whore who sat upon many waters; nevertheless, I beheld that the church of the Lamb, who were the saints of God, were also upon all the face of the earth; and their dominions upon the face of the earth were small, because of the wickedness of the great whore whom I saw.

13 And it came to pass that I beheld that the great mother of abominations did gather together multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to fight against the Lamb of God.

14 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.

15 And it came to pass that I beheld that the wrath of God was poured out upon that great and abominable church, insomuch that there were wars and rumors of wars among all the nations and kindreds of the earth.

16 And as there began to be wars and rumors of wars among all the nations which belonged to the mother of abominations, the angel spake unto me, saying: Behold, the wrath of God is upon the mother of harlots; and behold, thou seest all these things—

17 And when the day cometh that the wrath of God is poured out upon the mother of harlots, which is the great and abominable church of all the earth, whose founder is the devil, then, at that day, the work of the Father shall commence, in preparing the way for the fulfilling of his covenants, which he hath made to his people who are of the house of Israel.

Notice how 3^rd Nephi 20 reveals that the covenant that the Father made to his people incorporates a literal gathering of his scattered remnants-

“Ye remember that I spake unto you, and said that when the words of Isaiah should be fulfilled—behold they are written, ye have them before you, therefore search them—

12 And verily, verily, I say unto you, that when they shall be fulfilled then is the fulfilling of the covenant which the Father hath made unto his people, O house of Israel.

13 And then shall the remnants, which shall be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth, be gathered in from the east and from the west, and from the south and from the north; and they shall be brought to the knowledge of the Lord their God, who hath redeemed them.

14 And the Father hath commanded me that I should give unto you this land, for your inheritance.

15 And I say unto you, that if the Gentiles do not repent after the blessing which they shall receive, after they have scattered my people—

16 Then shall ye, who are a remnant of the house of Jacob, go forth among them; and ye shall be in the midst of them who shall be many; and ye shall be among them as a lion among the beasts of the forest, and as a young lion among the flocks of sheep, who, if he goeth through both treadeth down and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

17 Thy hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

18 And I will gather my people together as a man gathereth his sheaves into the floor.

In the dedicatory prayer it is revealed how the gospel will go forth from Kirtland in the 3^rd watch-

And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with thy power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them;

23 And from this place they may bear exceedingly great and glorious tidings, in truth, unto the ends of the earth, that they may know that this is thy work, and that thou hast put forth thy hand, to fulfil that which thou hast spoken by the mouths of the prophets, concerning the last days.

The servants will first go forth to seal up the law and prepare the saints from the judgments that God sends forth in the world.

A spirit of peace and salvation rests upon those communities of saints that accept the gospel just as taught in the Book of Mormon verses that we have covered. Eventually, the saints are gathered out of the temporary cities of refuge to Zion and her appointed Stakes.

Put upon thy servants the testimony of the covenant, that when they go out and proclaim thy word they may seal up the law, and prepare the hearts of thy saints for all those judgments thou art about to send, in thy wrath, upon the inhabitants of the earth, because of their transgressions, that thy people may not faint in the day of trouble.

39 And whatsoever city thy servants shall enter, and the people of that city receive their testimony, let thy peace and thy salvation be upon that city; that they may gather out of that city the righteous, that they may come forth to Zion, or to her stakes, the places of thine appointment, with songs of everlasting joy;

40 And until this be accomplished, let not thy judgments fall upon that city.

41 And whatsoever city thy servants shall enter, and the people of that city receive not the testimony of thy servants, and thy servants warn them to save themselves from this untoward generation, let it be upon that city according to that which thou hast spoken by the mouths of thy prophets.

This explains why section 133 begins with God commanding his SAINTS to gather out of Babylon to Zion in America, the people he is speaking to are called Saints, not because he is speaking to members of the corporate church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints, he is speaking to the Saints who have received the true messengers and repented and accepted the fullness of the gospel and become the church of the Lamb BEFORE they are geographically gathered out to the waste places of Zion.

Waste Places of Zion

As you probably know, our government and the mainstream media are covering up just how serious the radiation is that is spreading all over the world from the crisis in Japan.

It is getting progressively worse daily.

At the end of this post I am providing some useful links that someone else provided on a chat board, regarding the monitoring of this radiation.

I want to remind you what a blessing this toxic calamity is!

First of all, the Lord gave the righteous portion of the 2nd watch saints that got expelled from Jackson County, an unconditional promise that they would be returned to Zion-

"But verily I say unto you, I have decreed that your brethren which have been scattered shall return to the lands of their inheritances, and shall build up the waste places of Zion." (103:11)

As we have discussed in numerous posts, every unconditional promise of the Lord contained in the D&C will be fulfilled.

The above promise is about to be fulfilled during our generation in the 3rd watch.

But how can this take place since the wicked and unbelieving are living in these places?

The Lord has promised to provide a scourge and consumption that would remove the wicked that are now encumbering the most holy places in his vineyard.

Do a key phrase search on "waste places".

You will see that before the lands of Jerusalem and Zion, located in America, are redeemed, they must be cleansed of the wicked inhabitants. This cleansing will make waste places out of these consecrated lands.

When the righteous gather to these places, ancient and modern prophets describe them as "waste places" but God will then take the curse off them and restore them.

Joseph Smith had a prophetic dream about returning to Kirtland. In the dream he refers to the consecrated land in Kirtland as the Farm and he refers to the temple as the Barn.

Notice what Joseph Smith says about the state of Kirtland when he returns-

“While I viewed the desolation around me, and was contemplating how it might be recovered from the curse upon it, there came rushing into the barn a company of furious men, who commenced to pick a quarrel with me. "

Clearly Nauvoo, Jackson, Far West, Kirtland and other places will become waste places before the righteous return to them.

Please notice a six point chronology in 3rd Nephi 16:1-20

1- Blessed are the Gentiles because of their belief in me in and of the Holy Ghost (This blessing takes place before the scattering of the remnants of the House of Israel)

2- Who unto the unbelieving of the Gentiles (who have scattered my people who are of the house of Israel)

3-At that day when the Gentiles shall sin against my gospel... I will bring the fulness of my gospel from among them.

4- And then will I remember my covenant which I have made unto my people, O house of Israel, and I will bring my gospel unto them... and ye shall come unto the knowledge of the fulness of my gospel.

5- But if the Gentiles will repent and return unto me, saith the Father, behold they shall be numbered among my people, O house of Israel. And I will not suffer my people, who are of the house of Israel, to go through among them, and tread them down, saith the Father. (This second blessing goes to the Gentiles in both word AND power after the scattering of the Book of Mormon peoples (see also 1st Nephi 14:1)

6- Verily, verily, I say unto you, thus hath the Father commanded me—that I should give unto this people this land for their inheritance. And then the words of the prophet Isaiah shall be fulfilled, which say: Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing, for they shall see eye to eye when the Lord shall bring again Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem; for the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of God. (this story is continued in chapter 20:10 at which time Christ clarifies that the Gentiles will receive ANOTHER BLESSING... AFTER the remnants are scattered!

The first blessing of the gentiles took place in the 2nd watch, before and during the the time that remnants of Israel are scattered. The second blessing of the gentiles takes place in the 3rd watch, after the remnants are scattered by the wicked gentiles.)

As mentioned in other posts, the Gentiles were blessed with a knowledge of the gospel between 1829 and 1836. During this time, they restored the priesthood, brought forth the Book of Mormon and modern scriptures, built a temple, and laid the foundation for the future Marvelous Work that is to come forth.

During and following that general time frame the wicked portion of the gentiles were scattering the House of Israel remnants of the Book of Mormon peoples.

Between 1831 and 1834, the gentiles rejected the fulness of the gospel and were left with the lesser gospel. Shortly after that, a secret event happened in the kirtland Temple that was never publicly revealed to the saints until several years after the death of the prophet Joseph Smith.

That event had to do with taking the gospel of Abraham (which contains the knowledge of the fulness of the gospel) to the House of Israel.

This secret event that took place in 1836 has since been revealed.

It is known today as section 110.

It has now been about four generation since the knowledge of the gospel was taken from the gentiles to the House of Israel and it is now time for a righteous portion of gentiles to repent and receive the second blessing.

It is time for them to accept the fulness of the gospel and be numbered with a righteous portion of the house of Israel.

This will take place through the ministering of angels and the return of Gods servants who will restore the fulness of the priesthood and the fulness of the gospel and gather God's people to that lands of Zion and Jerusalem in America and redeem them.

Before God's people can return to his holy lands, God must REMOVE the wicked who currently encumber those lands. God removes the wicked with a scourge.

The scriptures use the word scourge to refer to famine, plague, pestilence, disease, destroying storm and war.

But what is it on the other side of the veil that brings about the scourge?

It is the destroying angel!

The Lord has promised us in section 89 that those who keep God's commandments will be passed by, by the destroying angel!

From this we know that just as there was a destroying angel that helped to free Israel from bondage anciently, latter day Israel will also be brought out of bondage with the help of a destroying angel.

In 1834 the destroying angel was sent forth by the Lord to remove the wicked from the lands that have been consecrated for the gathering of the saints-

"Behold, the destroyer I have sent forth to destroy and lay waste mine enemies; and not many years hence they shall not be left to pollute mine heritage, and to blaspheme my name upon the lands which I have consecrated for the gathering together of my saints." (section 105)

The destroying angel went forth to run interference for the Saints since they had begun to prevail against the kingdoms of the world (103:6)

However, it appears that the Lord later restrained the destroyer when the saints failed to keep the commandments of the Lord and the kingdoms of the world began to prevail against them (103:7-8)

As we approach the time when the servants will return and confront the Pharaoh type leader who will be referred to as the "President Elect" (124:3) because he does not legally qualify to be the President of the United States, it is exciting to see amazing events such as the Gulf of Mexico calamity and the Japan crisis begin to create desolating sicknesses that will wipe the wicked off of the face of the land-

"And there shall be men standing in that generation, that shall not pass until they shall see an overflowing scourge; for a desolating sickness shall cover the land.
But my disciples shall stand in holy places, and shall not be moved; but among the wicked, men shall lift up their voices and curse God and die." (45:31-32)

3/5/2011 4:09:01 PM ET "Weeks after a story shot across the Web claiming that the imminent explosion of a nearby star would result in the appearance of a second sun in the sky — a story that was later debunked — two suns were caught on camera yesterday in China. The suns — one fuzzy and orange, the other a crisp yellow orb — appeared side-by-side, one slightly higher than the other."

It appears as if these two suns were spotted on March 4^th.

Interestingly, a few days earlier, on March 1^st, a gal who calls herself "Watcher" posted the following predictions on a popular chat board-

"The next New Moon will be MARCH 4, 20:46 UTC

The following New Moon will be APRIL 3, 14:32 UTC

It was confirmed to me that there will be signs in the heavens for those who can discern the signs of the times. Do not be caught unaware! WATCH!"

The above picture of what appears to be two suns that were spotted in China reminds me of an interesting passage in Malachi

3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

4 ¶ Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

5 ¶ Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

The version of the above passages quoted by Moroni to Joseph Smith in JSH 1:37 changes "And the day that cometh shall burn them" to "they that come shall burn them" implying that Elijah and other angels sent by Christ will be doing the burning of the wicked.

Another interesting change in those passages comes from the Book of Mormon. It alters the word "sun" to "son"

"But unto you that fear my name shall the Son of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."

Usually, when the Book of Mormon makes a change in an Old Testament passage that had been previously altered as a result of scribal errors, that same change is noted in the JST. However, this particular change is not duplicated in the JST.

The JST continues to refer to the "Sun" of righteousness.

That could potentially be revealing that when the SON comes in the glory of his Father, it will be a glory like unto a SUN.

I find this very fitting because we are informed that when Christ comes, he will come in the kingdom of his father and his Father has been described as a "consuming fire." (Heb 12:29)

"when I shall come in the kingdom of my Father to reward every man according as his work shall be" (101:65)

The new Testament elaborates on the fact that the righteous will "shine forth as the sun" when they are in the "kingdom of their father".

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. Matt

This brings me to a very misquoted and misunderstood prophecy of Joseph Smith that he made in reference to the following passage

"And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory."

Here is what Joseph Smith said pertaining to the above passage according to one journal entry-

"There will be wars and rumors of wars, signs in the heavens above and on the earth beneath, the sun turned into darkness and the moon to blood, earthquakes in divers places, the seas heaving themselves beyond their bounds; then will appear one grand sign of the Son of Man in heaven.

But what will the world do? They will say it is a planet, a comet, etc.

But the Son of Man will come as the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, which will be as the light of the morning cometh out of the east."

I would submit that Joseph Smith is simply saying that the actual coming of the Son of Man, will be like a light that continues to get brighter and brighter as it approaches the earth. That is the sign that is spoken of in the passage.

He is not saying that an approaching planet or comet represents the sign of the coming of the Son of Man, he is saying that the grand sign IS HIS LITERAL COMING IN HIS GLORY.

He is telling us what the WORLD will do when they see the brightness of Christ and the fathers kingdom getting brighter and brighter as they approach the earth.

His telling us how the worldly, uninspired people will interpret this event when they first see the light which is generated by Christ's glorious coming.

He is not telling us what the inspired prophets will be saying, he is telling us what the UNINSPIRED PEOPLE OF THE WORLD will be saying. The WORLD will be trying to trivialize it at first and credit it to natural phenomena such as a planet or a comet.

Here is another excerpt by another person by the name of Burgess giving his summary of the exact same sermon.

You will notice that he explicitly states that the sign is literally the coming of Christ's glory which starts out small and then becomes brighter and brighter. Then he asks the following question-

"Shall the wicked understand it? Oh no, they attribute it to a NATURAL CAUSE THEY WILL PROBABLY SUPPOSE IT IS TWO GREAT COMETS COMING IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER" (spelling changes made by me)

Here is a larger portion of the transcript for context purposes-

"He says then shall they see the Sign of the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds of Heaven.

How are we to see it Ans. As the lighting up of the morning or the dawning of the morning cometh from the east and shineth unto the west--

So also is the coming of the Son of Man. The dawning of the Morning makes its appearance in the east and moves along gradually so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. it will be small at its first appearance and gradually becomes larger until every eye shall see it.

Shall the Saints understand it Oh yes. Paul says so.

Shall the wicked understand Oh no they attribute it to a natural cause.

They will probably suppose it is two great comets coming in contact with each other

It will be small at first and will grow larger and larger until it will be all in a blaze so that every eye shall see it. Joseph Smith the Prophet."

Is it possible that the SON of righteousness has been approaching the earth for some time now and that it simply has not been seen because it is approaching directly from the other side of the sun?

According to Malachi, the consummation of the earth and the return of the SUN of righteousness all takes place beginning with the great and dreadful day of the Lord when the Elijah the restorer returns.

Is it possible that the same time sequence and pattern of events will take place with Elijah the restorer as the ones that took place in the 2nd watch with Elijah the preparer?

The fulness of the gentiles very possibly came to an end on the eighth day of the Kirtland temple sequence when it was accepted by Christ.

Unfortunately, instead of ushering in the dispensation of the fulness of times they ushered in the dispensation of the gospel of Abraham.

Interestingly, this coming March 27^th and April 3rds in 2011 both fall on Sundays, duplicating the Sunday to Sunday eight day period in 1836 from the dedicatory prayer (section 109) to the visitation of Messiah, Moses, Elias and Elijah (section 110)

Of further interest, April 3^rd 1836 landed on a full moon While April 3^rd 2011 lands on a new moon.

That full moon in 1836 came shortly after the 3 ½ year attempt of the gentiles to usher in the fulness of the priesthood and the fulness of the gospel which requires consecration.

The rejection of the fulness of the gospel was the fulfillment of the prophecy of Christ in 3rd Nephi, that the 2nd watch gentiles would reject the fulness of the gospel, sending the knowledge of the gospel to the remaining branches of Israel. Hence this marked the time when the wickedness of the gentiles reached its fulness.

Their failure to successfully embrace the fulness, appears to have brought the time of the gentiles to an end, and, at the same time, marked the ushering in of the dispensation of the gospel of Abraham when the preparatory gospel was taken to the nations of the world.

It would certainly be exciting if this coming April 3^rd were to mark the time when the times of the Gentiles opens up AGAIN. (45:28)

This could be the beginning of the shining forth of the light and the beginning of the great and dreadful day of the Lord, when the gentiles will once again be reinstated and called to repentance.

There are many prophetic time-line evidences that seem to point to the approaching date with destiny within the next few years.

Among them is the fact that next year will mark 70 years since Babylon allowed the creation of the United nations. (see Isa 23 & 25 & Jer 29 )

The other night while reading JS Matthew I was shocked to see one of the best evidences of the 3rd watch that I had never really pondered before... in the context of the three watches doctrine.

Although I have long since quit highlighting and numbering the countless passages the prove there is to be another restoration and final dispensation of the gospel, I just had to point this one out.

Notice verse 31

"And again, this Gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come, or the destruction of the wicked"

That right there is the last time that the gospel of the kingdom will be preached.

The fact that the gospel needs to be preached AGAIN is, in my humble opinion, proof that it has long since stopped being preached at the time this event is taking place!

It is clearly not speaking about the preaching of the gospel that took place during the LDS restoration when the first portion of the Book of Mormon came forth. We know this because of the following things.

1- The end of the world, otherwise known as the destruction of the wicked takes place directly afterward... not 200+ years afterward. (verse 31)

2- The Abomination of Desolation takes place directly afterward, not 200+ years afterward. (verse 32)

3- Immediately after the tribulation that follows the preaching of the gospel for the last time, the Sun shall be darkened and the moon will not give her light and the stars will fall from heaven. That did not take place directly following the LDS restoration movement. (verse 33)

4- Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the powers of the heavens will be shaken and then will appear the sign of the coming of the Son of Man. Did that wondrous event take place shortly after the LDS restoration movement? No. (verse 36)

5) Finally, we are informed that within just one generation, all of the above events will be fulfilled. Clearly, none of the events listed above took place during the lives of the generation of people living at the time of the restoration of the Church, nor did it happen within a 40 year biblical generation. (verse34)

Now then, we already know that the first watch took place during the Saviors earthly ministry.

We are informed of that in JST Luke 12, the passage of scripture that inspired the name of this blog-

"For, behold, he cometh in the FIRST WATCH of the night, and he shall also come in the SECOND WATCH, and he shall come in the THIRD WATCH. And verily I say unto you, He hath already come, as it is written of him [during the meridian of time] and again when he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, blessed are those servants when he cometh, that he shall find so doing"

Since we know that the first watch took place during the earthly ministry of Christ, when he was among is disciples, that would be at the very beginning of JST Matthew 24 as he begins prophesying to them about the end of the world.

But wait!

If JS Matthew begins with Christ speaking during his earthly ministry in the 1st watch, and verse 31 represents the 3rd watch when the final preaching of the gospel into all the world for the last time takes place, when is the 2nd watch mentioned in this chapter?

I realize that it is possible that it just wasn't even mentioned in this chapter. Perhaps the Lord did not want to make mention of it as he was speaking of the events leading up to His second coming in glory.

I suppose some might make a strong argument that it isn't mentioned.

May I suggest, however, that perhaps the events of the 2nd watch are in fact briefly mentioned in the parable found in verse 27 and the other verses leading up to the introduction of the final preaching of the gospel in verse 31 (3rd watch).

If in fact it is, this might shed light on what has been taking place during the last four generations, since the restoration of the church and the publishing of the Book of Mormon.

Lets review these verses-

27 And now I show unto you a parable. Behold, wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together; so likewise shall mine elect be gathered from the four quarters of the earth.

28 And they shall hear of wars, and rumors of wars.

29 Behold I speak for mine elect's sake; for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

30 And again, because iniquity shall abound, the love of men shall wax cold; but he that shall not be overcome, the same shall be saved.

Prior to the final preaching of the gospel in all the world in the 3rd watch, the elect are gathered from the four quarters of the earth! (As we will see as we continue to dissect these passages, the preliminary gathering of the elect to the promised land began taking place as a result of the restoration of the keys of the gathering of Israel in 1836 as documented in section 110)

After being gathered to the land of promise in America, they will hear of wars and rumors of wars. (this has also taken place and is currently taking place)

Eventually war will break out all over the world pitting nation again nation and kingdom against kingdom. (this is about to happen. It is mentioned in section 87 and 112 )

A time of famines, pestilences and earth quakes in divers places takes place also. (we have had increasing earthquakes and they will undoubtedly become more rapid and bigger until the really big on hits. We have also experienced famines in various places in the world, however, we are informed that there will be a much bigger global famine that is coming.)

Prior to the final restoration and final preaching of the gospel, the love of man will wax cold. (Shortly after the gospel was restored and the call to repentance was sounded by the first laborers of the last kingdom, the Lord gave this warning in section one of the D&C " And he that repents not, from him shall be taken even the light which he has received; for my Spirit shall not always strive with man, saith the Lord of Hosts.")

All of these events listed above take place AFTER the beginning of the gathering of the elect from the four quarters of the earth which started back in 1837, and BEFORE the final shining forth of the light of the fulness of the gospel which will be preached in all the earth for the last time!

Notice how verse 30 provides the subtle observation regarding the elect who have been gathered prior the Marvelous Work-

"..but he that shall not be overcome, the same shall be saved."

Amazing.

Despite the fact that the elect start being gathered out from the four quarters of the earth in the 2nd watch and during the four generations leading up to the final dispensation, it is a time of spiritual darkness and hardship when many people are being overcome.

Only those whose hearts do not wax cold are not overcome during this period of time, will triumphantly accept the gospel when it finally is preached in its fulness for the last time.

The Savior prophesied about two significant things that would happen during the 2nd watch in the following passages.

One was that the gentiles of the 2nd watch reject the gospel. The other was, that after the rejection of the gospel by the gentiles, he would remember his covenant with the house of Israel .

10 And thus commandeth the Father that I should say unto you: At that day when the Gentiles shall sin against my gospel, and shall reject the fulness of my gospel, and shall be lifted up in the pride of their hearts above all nations, and above all the people of the whole earth, and shall be filled with all manner of lyings, and of deceits, and of mischiefs, and all manner of hypocrisy, and murders, and priestcrafts, and whoredoms, and of secret abominations; and if they shall do all those things, and shall reject the fulness of my gospel, behold, saith the Father, I will bring the fulness of my gospel from among them.

11 And then will I remember my covenant which I have made unto my people, O house of Israel, and I will bring my gospel unto them.

12 And I will show unto thee, O house of Israel, that the Gentiles shall not have power over you; but I will remember my covenant unto you, O house of Israel, and ye shall come unto the knowledge of the fulness of my gospel.

You will notice from the above passage that when the fulness of the gospel is taken from the gentiles, the house of Israel initially only gets the KNOWLEDGE of the fulness of the gospel.

The book of Mormon speaks of a general gathering to he land of promise that takes place before the final gathering to Zion takes place.

"Yea, even my father spake much concerning the Gentiles, and also concerning the house of Israel, that they should be compared like unto an olive-tree, whose branches should be broken off and should be scattered upon all the face of the earth.

13 Wherefore, he said it must needs be that we should be led with one accord into the land of promise, unto the fulfilling of the word of the Lord, that we should be scattered upon all the face of the earth.

14 And after the house of Israel should be scattered they should be gathered together again; or, in fine, after the Gentiles had received the fulness of the Gospel, the natural branches of the olive-tree, or the remnants of the house of Israel, should be grafted in, or come to the knowledge of the true Messiah, their Lord and their Redeemer." (1st Nephi 10)

The actual fruits of the fulness of the gospel don't materialize until a later time. (Jacob 5:74)

This dispensation pertaining to the keys of gathering Israel in the latter days were secretly committed to Joseph and Oliver in 1836 after the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was rejected.

"Moses appeared to us and committed unto us the keys of the gathering of Israel from the four parts of the earth"

These keys were passed on to the quorum of the twelve with the mandate to publish and testify of the Book of Mormon and associated modern revelations. (Section 112)

Foreign missions were established to begin taking the preparatory gospel to the nations of the earth, fulfilling the prophecy of Christ.

The preliminary gathering of Israel from the "four parts of the earth" mentioned in verse 11 of section 110 appears to incorporate (or be synonymous with) the preliminary gathering of the elect "from the four quarters of the earth" mentioned in verse 27 of JS Matthew!

The fulness of the gospel was cumulatively rejected by the saints during the 2nd watch (including the law of consecration) as contained in 3rd Nephi in the Book of Mormon and Modern revelation.

Although the saints failed to usher in the dispensation of the fulness of times and the final gathering of the elect to the center place of Zion, they did usher in the dispensation of the gospel of Abraham and the preliminary gathering of the house of Israel to the promised land of America.

This provided the laying the foundation for the Marvelous Work and a Wonder that would take place four generations later!

"..ye are laying the foundation of a great work. And out of small things proceedeth that which is great." (section 64)

The Lord revealed that following the foundation of the restored church, the first elders would, at a later time, bring it forth again out of obscurity and darkness. It is during this second work that the church will come forth out of obscurity and darkness-

"And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth.." (section one)

The laying of the initial foundation included the bringing forth of the translation of the unsealed portion of the Book of Mormon which has become the standard for latter day Jews and Gentiles to seek after. (see D&C 45:9 )

The first portion of the Book of Mormon is preparing the way, laying the foundation, providing the light that has been gathering Israel and the elect of God to the preparatory gospel and to the promised land in preparation for the last dispensation. Even the dispensation of the fulness of times.

After four generations of using the translation of the unsealed portion of the Book of Mormon to gather Israel and the elect unto the promised land and the knowledge of God's covenants, God will begin his final work. He will bring forth his "strong reasoning" to see which of those who have accepted the lesser light, will receive the greater light. (see D&C 45:10)

It will be a Marvelous Work. It will polarize the world.

It will involve the rest of the Nephite record and other records and it will result in the preaching of the FULNESS OF THE GOSPEL for the last time.

9 And even so I have sent mine everlasting covenant into the world, to be a light to the world, and to be a standard for my people, and for the Gentiles to seek to it, and to be a messenger before my face to prepare the way before me.

10 Wherefore, come ye unto it, and with him that cometh I will reason as with men in days of old, and I will show unto you my strong reasoning.

The greater light is about to shine forth.

Let us now observe cryptic information embedded within portions of the Book of Mormon showing that the plates are translated and come forth in three parts.

First portion of Book of Mormon was written to Seed of Lehi (2nd watch)
Second portion of Book of Mormon will be written to Gentiles (beginning of 3rd watch)
Third portion contains history of the earth from beginning to end (end of 3rd watch)

The modern corporate church teaches that the Book of Mormon comes forth in two parts, however, as we will see, it actually come forth in at least three parts.

In 2nd Nephi 29 we are informed that the first portion of the Book of Mormon record which was primarily written to the seed of Lehi was to come forth. It laid the foundation of the preliminary work.

"the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed.." (See 2nd Nephi 29:2-)

The first record provided the STANDARD that began the preliminary gathering of the seed of Abraham and Israel to the promised land of America and given them a KNOWLEDGE OF THE GOSPEL.

"..and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel"

The first portion of the Book of Mormon has laid the foundation for the final work and has been instrumental in gathering many remnants of Israel and made known the covenants of the Father, HOWEVER, when it went forth from the gentiles to the seed of Lehi during the 2nd watch, it failed to collectively convert the seed of Lehi.

In 2nd Nephi 30 Nephi prophesies again with additional information. This time he speaks about the second part of the record that will come forth at a future time. He then informs us that the second portion of the Book of Mormon record (which is about to come forth in our time), will be primarily speaking to the gentiles. It will come forth long enough to be translated and then will be sealed up again.

"And now, I would prophesy somewhat more concerning the Jews and the Gentiles. For after the book of which I have spoken shall come forth, and be written unto the Gentiles, and sealed up again unto the Lord"

This second portion of the Book of Mormon that comes forth will be primarily speaking to the Gentiles.

Once again, people will only be able to read the translation but not see the plates, just like what happened during the first part of Joseph Smith's ministry in the 2nd watch. One will need to exercise FAITH in accepting the second portion of the record and in embracing the fulness of the gospel when it comes forth in the beginning of the 3rd watch. This test in the 3rd watch will be similar to the previous one in the 2nd watch.

Oddly enough, when the believing gentiles present the second part of the record that is primarily directed to them, to the seed of Lehi, in the beginning of the 3rd watch, the seed of Lehi will collectively believe and "be restored to the knowledge of their fathers!" (2nd Nephi 30:5)

The portion of the record that is about to come forth, that is primarily directed to the gentiles, will finally convince the seed of Lehi. It will provide confirmation of the truthfulness of the first part of the record.

It will be instrumental in ushering in the Marvelous Work and the fulness of the gospel and the dispensation of the fulness of times.

It is fascinating to note that the first gathering that begins at the time of Joseph Smith and continues to this present day is characterized by section 110 and JST Matthew as gathering Israel from the "four parts of the earth" and the elect from the "four quarters of the earth".

We are informed later in JST Matthew that AFTER the Gospel is finally preached for the last time, the REMAINDER of the Elect will be gathered from the "four winds, from one end of heaven to the other".

Apparently this final gathering is differentiated from the preliminary gathering because it includes people on the other side of the veil.

One of the points I want to really emphasize pertaining to this post is that the last four generations have not been prophetically insignificant regarding the working of Gods hand in a positive way.

Many sincere truth seekers who begin searching deeply into the scriptures and the history of the church become alarmed to find out what the current state of the church really is and then they become discouraged, thinking that nothing of significance has been taking place for the last four generations.

However there is a bigger picture to all of this.

Think about it. How prepared would you personally be for the Marvelous Work that is about to come forth if you had not been exposed to the Book of Mormon?

Since the coming forth of the first portion of the Book of Mormon in 1829-30 to this present day, millions upon millions upon millions of people, in and out of the church, on both sides of the veil, have been exposed to the Book of Mormon and the fulness of the gospel contained therein.. The laying of that foundation of knowledge and awareness is essential to the ushering in of the Marvelous Work.

Everything pertaining to the final ushering in of the Marvelous Work requires the world in general and the church membership specifically, to have a documented, previous knowledge, of the record of the seed of Lehi and the history of a brief restoration of the fulness of the gospel among the gentiles.

Everyone who reads the Book of Mormon has the ability to discern truth and grow spiritually regardless of what outside forces are doing and teaching and commanding.

That is what sets the stage for the drama we are about to embark on.

How could God bring forth his "strong reasoning" about the content in the second part of the record if we were not already familiar with the first part of the record?

Everything God does has a purpose. We need to see the big picture and see the hand of God working Now.

Yes, it is true, that priestcraft and false doctrines are being packaged and presented along with the Book of Mormon and the revelations associated with bringing it forth.

Yes it is true that the Book of Mormon and those revelations are used as window dressing to give credibility to and imply that said claims are true even though they cannot be scripturally justified.

So what?

Each person who reads the Book of Mormon and the associated revelations brought forth by the same Seer is provided the knowledge to discern the truth if they choose to believe and obey God instead of the arm of flesh.

It is all just part of the test.

I am not suggesting that those who are using the Book of Mormon and associated modern revelations to further corporate objectives are intentionally conspiring to do something evil.

I am suggesting that the eyes of the seers have been covered.

The Book of Mormon provides clarification to the following passage from Isaiah-

"For behold, the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep. For behold, ye have closed your eyes, and ye have rejected the prophets; and your rulers, and the seers hath he covered because of your iniquity."

Why has the Lord covered the eyes of the latter day saints and their prophets and seers?

Because they have taken lightly the things in the first portion of the Book of Mormon and associated scriptures brought forth by the same seer.

In section 84 the Lord declares-

"the whole world lieth in sin, and groaneth under darkness and under the bondage of sin." verse 49)

The Lord explains how you can know if people are under the bondage of sin-

"And by this you may know they are under the bondage of sin, because they come not unto me. For whoso cometh not unto me is under the bondage of sin. And whoso receiveth not my voice is not acquainted with my voice, and is not of me. And by this you may know the righteous from the wicked, and that the whole world groaneth under sin and darkness even now."

Clearly, those who do not know Gods voice and follow his commandments are under the bondage of sin.

The Lord continues to explain in greater detail why the saints were under the bondage of sin and were condemned.

54 And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things you have received—
55 Which vanity and unbelief have brought the whole church under condemnation.
56 And this condemnation resteth upon the children of Zion, even all.
57 And they shall remain under this condemnation until they repent and remember the new covenant, even the Book of Mormon and the former commandments which I have given them, not only to say, but to do according to that which I have written—
58 That they may bring forth fruit meet for their Father's kingdom

This is why the eyes of the latter day seers and the modern church authorities that succeeded them according to the law of common consent have been covered.

Getting back to JST Matthew 24, this is why the love of men has waxed cold and the spirit of the Lord did not strive with men.

This is why the Savior explained that those who were not overcome during this time of darkness would be saved when the light shines forth and the gospel is again taken to the world.

Are we anxiously awaiting the coming forth of the next portion of the record?

Will we be able to discern the true record and discount the counterfeit records that have and probably will come forth to deceive?

One last observation.

The Book of Mormon uses the term STANDARD differently when speaking about the 2nd watch than it does when speaking of the 3rd watch.

The Book of Mormon identifies the STANDARD, in 2nd Nephi 29 as the BOOK OF MORMON. which contains the KNOWLEDGE OF THE FULNESS OF THE GOSPEL.

You will notice however, that if you do a Book of Mormon key word search on the term STANDARD, there are other places when it refers to the STANDARD in the 3rd watch as those righteous GENTILES who are showing forth the fruits of the fulness of the gospel.

Nevertheless, after they shall be nursed by the Gentiles, and the Lord has lifted up his hand upon the Gentiles and set them up for a standard, and their children have been carried in their arms, and their daughters have been carried upon their shoulders, behold these things of which are spoken are temporal; for thus are the covenants of the Lord with our fathers; and it meaneth us in the days to come, and also all our brethren who are of the house of Israel.

7 And it meaneth that the time cometh that after all the house of Israel have been scattered and confounded, that the Lord God will raise up a mighty nation among the Gentiles, yea, even upon the face of this land; and by them shall our seed be scattered.

8 And after our seed is scattered the Lord God will proceed to do a marvelous work among the Gentiles, which shall be of great worth unto our seed; wherefore, it is likened unto their being nourished by the Gentiles and being carried in their arms and upon their shoulders.

This provides another illustration of the difference between the 2nd and 3rd watches.

The first portion of the Book of Mormon was the written standard of truth in the preliminary gathering in the 2nd watch.

The righteous Gentiles are the living standard of truth in the final gathering.

"Take away the Book of Mormon and the revelations, and where is our religion? We have none;

for without Zion and a place of deliverance, we must fall;

because the time is near when the sun will be darkened, and the moon turn to blood, and the stars fall from heaven, and the earth reel to and fro.

Then if this is the case, and if we are not sanctified and gathered to the places God has appointed, with all our former professions and our great love for the Bible, we must fall. we cannot stand; we cannot be saved;

for God will gather out his Saints from the Gentiles, and then comes desolations and destructions, and none can escape except the pure in heart who are gathered. " (TPJS 196)

And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished."

I have always assumed that the scattering of the power of the Holy People made reference to a negative event… One where Satan and his minions overcame the saints for a while.

Indeed virtually every online interpretation by prophecy scholars that I have seen agrees that "scattering the power of the holy people" … "certainly prophesied nothing but trouble "

The other day while Mrs Watcher was reading this passage to me as we were driving on the freeway a light went on in my head and I saw these passages completely differently.

Let me point out a few things about these passages

The three beings being spoken about are holy servants of God. (I wouldn't be surprised if the passages are speaking about the Spokesman and the Seer as the two that are standing on each side of the river and Father Adam may be the one standing on the river.)

It is the holy servant of God standing on the river that is accomplishing the scattering of the power of the Holy People! (possibly during a 3 ½ year period of time)

It makes more sense to me that this holy man is accomplishing something GOOD! Not something BAD!

The term scatter may refer to the dispersing of power rather than the destroying of power.

The word "scatter"; comes from the Hebrew word 'naw-fa' which means to dash to pieces and scatter the fragments (We are told in an earlier chapter of Daniel that the stone will smite the image of the beast and "break them to pieces")

I always found it strange that early in the Book of Daniel we are told how the gospel stone that will be cut out of a mountain without hands would smite the feet of the image causing the kingdoms of Babylon to crumble and then the light of the gospel would fill the whole earth, and yet this amazing event is not mentioned in the closing chapter of Daniel.

Let me suggest that in fact the above mentioned event having to do with the beginning of the Marvelous Work and the spreading forth of the kingdom of God throughout the world possibly IS being mentioned in the last chapter of Daniel.

The scattering of the power of the Holy People just may be referring to the dispersing of power while breaking to pieces the kingdoms of Babylon and filling the whole earth with the light and glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Just a thought.

New LDS Online Scripture Search Utility- Conspiracy? Part Two

As a follow up to the last post, I still have not done much playing around in the new scripture searching software and therefore still do not have an opinion on it, however, I did go to an old article on the anarchist site regarding priesthood and clicked on one of the live links.

I was delighted to see that the links still work!

Interestingly, they don't take you to the old software, they take you to the referenced verses in the new software.

Here is the paragraph from an old article

For behold, by the power of his word [priesthood] man came upon the face of the earth, which earth was created by the power of his word [priesthood]. Wherefore, if God being able to speak [priesthood] and the world was, and to speak [priesthood] and man was created, O then, why not able to command the earth, or the workmanship of his hands upon the face of it, according to his will and pleasure? I am obviously not a programmer, but it appears that the new program is really just a variation of the old program for the two of them to be able to seamlessly interface with each other... although I guess with some additional programming they could have still accomplished the same thing.

This is really good news and it just goes to show that there is not a communist under every single rock!

New LDS Online Scripture Search Utility- Conspiracy?

Some time back I got the following message from a viewer-

"... I have come to totally rely on the LDS.org scripture search tool. I just read here (http://www.mormonapologetics.org/topic/52050-the-new-ldsorg-website-compared-with-the-old/) that they are changing the tool to make it almost impossible to do the searches I now do to find more complete ideas/knowledge.

Thought I'd pass the info along to you since you are the one who told me about it (thru your blog :) This is about the only worthwhile thing on the website :) and it figures they are getting rid of it.

Don't want us to have a way to search the scriptures and find all the stuff that is missing from the church :) Not paranoid or anything. God bless! "

I am sorry I have waited so long to pass this information along.

I have been preoccupied.

I frankly have still not taken the time to really analyze the new software that is in beta, which is strange for me since key word and key phrase searches represent such a huge portion of my gospel study.

I guess I have felt a little burned out lately.

Anyway, the day she gave me the heads up, I tried two quick searches, one was a disaster, the other actually turned out pretty good.

Although I am not prepared to make a judgment about which is better or not, or whether there is a sinister conspiracy to make it harder to connect the dots using technology, it recently occurred to me that there is another pretty significant outcome that needs to be considered.

What about all of the online articles that provide live links to the old scripture searching program?

Why is the church going to take the old program completely down in a few months when it would be so easy for them to continue making it available, even if it in not promoted on their main website?

That makes no sense to me at all!

How about the countless articles and the pain staking effort by so many to provide a quick and easy way for readers to jump right to the verses being referenced?

My articles are really not that much at issue here since I am pretty lazy and often don't even provide live links to the scriptures, but there are a lot of authors and gospel researchers out there that do! ( I for one really appreciate their effort when they do!)

Certainly a lot of thought has gone into this decision by TPTB.

Certainly the powers that be are very much aware that thousands and thousands of hours of work providing targeted links to their online scripture searching software is going to become broken links and end up in a frustrating experience for the readers of the article.

Why would such a decision be made?

Thousands of people are directed to the LDS search utility every day via gospel articles on blogs and websites.

LDS apologists such as FARMS and FAIR are certainly going to be very disappointed at this huge step backwards. What a slap in the face!

Is the current search utility not an incredible way to drive people to the church website and search utility?

Surely positive articles about the church that provide online links to the the LDS website are 100 to 1 over controversial articles.

Is that 1% so damaging to the church that they are willing to throw all of the other LDS authors under the bus?

I frankly can't see any other reason that the church would refuse to keep the old software up as a courtesy to all past authors and their readers.

Is this an indication of how much indigestion controversial articles linking to the scriptures is causing the corporation?

Am I missing something here?

Perhaps if enough exposure and publicity is given to this, tptb will need to reconsider, and keep the old software up... just like the hand book was made public because of public exposure...

FED holding of treasuries will surpass China AT THE END OF THE MONTH... CHANCES OF A WEIMAR TYPE ECONOMY 50%+

As is all too well known by now, starting over the next few days, the Fed will commence purchasing $75 billion in Treasury securities monthly until the end of June, and will buy an additional $35 billion in Treasurys to make up for declining holdings of MBS (due to repurchases).

What is certain is that on June 30, the Fed's balance sheet will have $2.68 trillion (or more) in holdings, of which $1.77 trillion will be in Treasurys, compared to the $840 billion today. What is also certain is that the Fed will not be able to stop there. Which is why we have extended the projection period through January 2012. At that point the Fed will hold $2.6 trillion in US Treasuries, or roughly 25% of total US marketable debt at that point.

Incidentally, nowhere do we assume that the Fed will have launched QE 3, 4, and so forth, over the next 12 months, even though we now estimate the probability of America becoming an exponentially self-monetizing, Weimar-type case study in hyperinflation at over 50%.

The Priesthood Keys- Part Two

Virtually every D&C commentary Including the one by Smith and Sjodahl, will tell you that the parable of the Nobleman and his Vineyard, otherwise known as the parable of the redemption of Zion, given in section 101, is speaking about the failure of the Saints to build the Jackson county Temple during 1831-1834.

The online commentary sponsored by the church makes the same mistake with the following declaration-

"DC 101:43-62 The Parable of the Nobleman and his Vineyard"

"This parable is given to explain why the saints in Jackson County suffered persecution and affliction. Interestingly, the Lord is speaking to his faithful saints and still uses parables to illustrate his point."

All of these commentaries give a false explanation of what the parable had reference to.

That parable was not speaking about the Jackson county temple nor was it speaking about the early years of the restoration movement.

As you know, the commandment to build the Nauvoo Temple was given in section 124 in 1841.

What you might not be aware of, is the fact that Joseph gave a discourse in Nauvoo on July 19, 1840 in which he prophesied that the great and high watch tower would be built in Nauvoo.

He began is discourse by reading the parable in section 101.

Following that, he went on to prophesy that the Saints would not be committed to urgently building the tower.

The spirit of prophecy within him showed him that the Saints would be somewhat complacent in building the temple because the initial years in Nauvoo would be peaceful.

The Saints would not initially be under the persecution they had become accustomed to in Kirtland and Jackson County.

He further predicted that the enemy would come as a thief in the night and scatter the servants abroad.

Of course, the rest is history. The Saints did not complete the temple. The enemy did scatter the Saints abroad.

"We shall build the Zion of the Lord in peace until the servants of that Lord shall begin to lay the foundation of a great and high watch Tower and then shall they begin to say within themselves what need hath my Lord of this tower seeing this is a time of peace & Then the Enemy shall come as a thief in the night and scatter the servants abroad…"

According to Joseph Smith, the great and high watch tower in the parable had reference to the temple that the Lord would command them to build in Nauvoo.

As you can see, everything I have been telling you about the temple never being completed resulting in the church being rejected with its dead is not only verifiable according to historical documents, it is also actually validated by this incredible prophecy by Joseph Smith.

But the prophesy gets even more interesting.

Let us continue-

"when the seed of these 12 Olive trees are scattered abroad they will wake up the Nations of the whole Earth Even this Nation will be on the very verge of crumbling to pieces and tumbling to the ground and when the constitution is upon the brink of ruin this people will be the Staff up which the Nation shall lean and they shall bear away the constitution away from the very verge of destruction Then shall the Lord say go tell all my servants who are the strength of mine house my young men and middle aged &c come to the Land of my vineyard and fight the battle of the Lord"

The prophet reveals that the posterity of the LDS Saints four generations ago will play an important part in waking up the nation when the Servants return. It will be under the direction of the Servants of the Lord that return according to the parable.

He points out that the waking up takes place at the time when the constitution is upon the brink of ruin.

Could we be getting close to that point in time?

In fact, according the prophecy, it is only because of Gods people that the constitution is preserved.

But notice how the Prophet refers to the posterity of the early Saints as the "Seed of the Olive Trees" instead of as a church.

This is, of course, because section 124 points out that the church will be rejected as a church at the time that the Saints fail to build the tower in the sufficient time allotted.

The prophecy of Joseph's is referring to the posterity of the Saints as the SEED of the TWELVE OLIVE TREES, or in other words, as the latter day tribes of Israel.

Praise God almighty even though they lose their status as a church, they retain their tribal entity!

Thank goodness for patriarchal blessings.

The prophecy then speaks of the Kings and Queens and the rulers of the earth that will come, which is referencing the parts of section 124 that speak of the proclamation that will go forth to the kings and rulers of the earth.

Remember, section 124 had not even been given yet!

Praise God for the spirit of prophecy found in Joseph Smith, one of the greatest prophets that has ever lived!

Let us continue with one of the greatest prophesies ever recorded. A prophecy that has been rejected by official commentaries of the apostate church.

"Then the Kings & Queens shall come then the rulers of the Earth shall come.."

It appears to me that the next event in the sequence has to do with the gathering of the "rich and the learned, the wise and the noble", as mentioned in section 58. Don't jump to conclusions about what section 58 is speaking about.

I have mentioned the subliminal message regarding that event previously… hopefully you understand what it is really referring to.

After that great feast, there will be another one-

Section 58 spins it this way-

"And after that cometh the day of my power; then shall the poor, the lame, and the blind, and the deaf, come in unto the marriage of the Lamb, and partake of the supper of the Lord, prepared for the great day to come."

Compare that to the next statement in Joseph's prophecy-

"then shall all saints come yea the Foreign saints shall come to fight for the Land of my vineyard for in this thing shall be their safety and they will have no power to choose but will come as a man fleeth from a sudden destruction"

Of course Joseph is referring to the second harvest. He is speaking about those who did not respond to the first invitation but waited for the second one. (holy first, righteous second)

The next part of the prophecy addresses an event to take place in Nauvoo just a few years after his prophecy wherein he alludes to his own martyrdom-

"But before this the time shall be when these who are now my friends shall become my enemies and shall seek to take my life and shall be m there are those now before me who will more furiously pursue me and the more dilligently seek to my life and be more blood thirsty upon my track than ever were the Missouri Mobbers You say among yourselves as did them of old time it is I & is it I But I know these things by the visions of the Almighty."

Yes that is right. Joseph knew that some of his most loyal brethren, like William Law and his brother and the Higbies and others who were so loyal to Joseph when they first began establishing Nauvoo, would eventually turn against him and seek his life.

So, how is it that the latter day tribes are able to make contact with the servants when they return?

Why is it the privilege of the latter day tribes to do so and by what priesthood keys are they able to accomplish this?

Obviously, according to what I have demonstrated in the history of the church, the Aaronic priesthood was the only of the three priesthoods that remained in the church after the martyrdom…

..and the church had been condemned and rejected… left with the law of carnal commandments and telestial law.

In fact the Aaronic priesthood was the only one of the three priesthoods that came with the promise that it would remain on the earth for an extended period of time-

"and this [priesthood] shall never be taken again from the earth, until the sons of Levi do offer again an offering unto the Lord in righteousness." (D&C 13)

We know from doing scriptural key word searches that the time when the sons of Levi offer an offering unto the Lord in righteousness is when the 3^rd watch opens up. (see Malachi and section 128)

Have you ever wondered why it was so important for the Aaronic priesthood to remain on the earth?

In fact, have you ever wondered why it even needed to be restored?

After all, the patriarchal priesthood can officiate in all of the ordinances that the Aaronic priesthood can, plus officiate in the ordinances that actually have the ability to save us in a higher kingdom.

Why did the Lord even bother to restore the ancient order of the Levitical priesthood to the latter day Gentile church?

I would submit to you that in fact, the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints does have in its possession and does administer the priesthood keys that will be instrumental in making contact with the servants of the Lord and in ushering in the greater light when the next restoration begins.

What keys are those that I am speaking of?

"…the keys of the ministering of angels"

I hate to contradict a faith promoting story that was recently given in general conference, but the keys of the ministering of angels has nothing to do with the Aaronic priesthood boys doing kind acts of service.

They actually have to do with the literal reception of ministering angels who are sent with messages, information and additional priesthood keys.

A text book example of how Joseph and Oliver were ministered to by angels would be the restoration of the first two priesthoods.

Another would be found in section 110, when four angels appeared to Joseph and Oliver to give them information as well as priesthood keys and dispensational keys.

Since there are precious few documented cases where the ministering of real angels has taken place during the last four generations, it is, I suppose, understandable that our leaders might be tempted to morph the doctrine of ministering angels and redefine what it means.

Let me suggest however, that even though the keys of the ministering of angels has largely been dormant in previous generations, they are still here, and when the appointed time comes and faith is increased in the earth, the keys of the kingdom will once again be given to mortal man on the earth through these Aaronic priesthood keys.

This is what section 65 is referring to-

1 Hearken, and lo, a voice as of one sent down from on high, who is mighty and powerful, whose going forth is unto the ends of the earth, yea, whose voice is unto men—Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

2 The keys of the kingdom of God are committed unto man on the earth, and from thence shall the gospel roll forth unto the ends of the earth, as the stone which is cut out of the mountain without hands shall roll forth, until it has filled the whole earth.

3 Yea, a voice crying—Prepare ye the way of the Lord, prepare ye the supper of the Lamb, make ready for the Bridegroom.

4 Pray unto the Lord, call upon his holy name, make known his wonderful works among the people.

5 Call upon the Lord, that his kingdom may go forth upon the earth, that the inhabitants thereof may receive it, and be prepared for the days to come, in the which the Son of Man shall come down in heaven, clothed in the brightness of his glory, to meet the kingdom of God which is set up on the earth.

6 Wherefore, may the kingdom of God go forth, that the kingdom of heaven may come, that thou, O God, mayest be glorified in heaven so on earth, that thine enemies may be subdued; for thine is the honor, power and glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Think about those words in red.

Joseph, Sidney and Oliver are going to need to commit the keys of the kingdom of God upon mortal men when they return just the same way that they received them… via the ministration of angels.

That is what Joseph was referring to when he said,

"Men and angels are to be co-workers in bringing to pass this great work…" TPJS page 84.

We often read section 65 as if it is a revelation referring to a past event. However it is actually a prophecy pertaining to a future event.

The chapter heading says

"Revelation given through Joseph Smith the Prophet, at Hiram, Ohio, October 1831. HC 1: 218. The Prophet designates this revelation as a prayer."

This is a prophetic prayer about a future event!

And the future event was not something that would be taking place during the life of Joseph Smith, in fact, there was no need for it to take place at the time it was given because the keys of the kingdom had already been committed unto men on the earth by angels!

Yes it is true that all prophecies have a dual fulfillment, and in that sense, the prophetic prayer had a typological application to the keys of the kingdom that had already been given to Joseph Smith by the ministering of angels, however, the literal fulfillment of the prophetic dream had reference to the restoration of those same keys, to mortal men, in the 3^rd watch, when the final restoration takes place!

Indeed, the Seer and the Spokesman will return as ministering angels to commit the keys of the kingdom to mortal men living on the earth at this time.

And I am suggesting that the mortal men that will be the first to entertain Joseph, Sidney, Oliver and others and to receive the keys of the kingdom, will be among the literal seed of the twelve tribes of Israel who have received the Aaronic priesthood from the priesthood tribe that is called the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints.

In the next part of this series, I will drill down a little further into the Parable of the Olive Trees contained in the Book of Mormon to show that the SOMETHING that the Lord and his Servant did to PRESERVE the roots from the 2^nd watch to the 3^rd watch was synonymous with the SOMETHING NEW that the Lord revealed to Joseph Smith that needed to be done for the temporal (and eventually the spiritual) SALVATION of the apostate latter day church.

The Priesthood Keys

If I were to tell you that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints holds the priesthood keys that will be instrumental in ushering in the Marvelous Work and a Wonder in the 3^rd watch, would that surprise you?

After all, I am the heretic that teaches that the Melchizedek Priesthood was only on the earth for 3 ½ years during the LDS foundation movement. It was lost in the church by late December of 1834.

And I am the one that claims that the priesthood offices within the Patriarchal Priesthood that have the right to administer the saving ordinances of the gospel were lost from the earth by the time the Prophet Joseph Smith was martyred… Because of the failure of the church of repent and finish the Nauvoo temple within the "sufficient time" allotted by the Lord.

That failure to complete the temple and the decision to flee from the cornerstone of Zion against the will of the Lord caused the church to be rejected with its dead.

So… how in the world could the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints hold and disperse the priesthood keys necessary to usher in the Marvelous Work and a Wonder and the dispensation of the fullness of times?

The Curse and the Calamity... part two

To summarize part one of this series, I believe the CURSE that goes forth and eventually devours the earth and makes it desolate, spoken of by Isaiah in chapter 24 may be related to the gulf of Mexico crisis.

I also believe that the curse spoken of by Isaiah and Malachi is what D&C 1:17 refers to as the CALAMITY that comes upon the inhabitants of the earth!

The curse, according to Isaiah is caused as a result of the everlasting covenant previously being broken by Gods people.

It is only because of an intercessory offering, that the curse (which very possibly began to go forth four generations ago) was stopped and delayed until our generation.

Why do I believe this sign of the curse going forth is so important if indeed my speculation on these issues is correct?

Because-

This calamity/curse verifies that the Marvelous Work is about to begin and the servants are about to show up and Zion is about to be redeemed. Hence we have entered or are in the process of entering into the time spoken of as Jacobs trouble.

This calamity/curse verifies that the everlasting covenant spoken of by Isaiah has already been broken by the restored church and that the covenant breach must be restored again so that after the wicked are removed from the holy places of gathering, the waste places may be inhabited again by God's people as spoken in Isaiah 58. It also refers to the time when the Zion will put on her strength and be restored to the power she has lost.

This calamity/curse also provides perhaps one of the most powerful witnesses that the doctrine of the three watches is true and that there needs to be a third watch, or, DISPENSATION, besides the dispensation of the last times, even the dispensation of the fulness of times.

There are lots of conflicting reports and misinformation and disinformation regarding the current status of the crisis in the gulf.

Some reports are optimistic about the new temporary cap, most are realistic about the fact that the integrity of the well casing has been seriously compromised… the major problem now is not even located at the well head. It is all the leaks along the bottom of the sea bed that are leaking crude, methane, benzene, etc. that pose an astronomical problem and that many feel that no human technology can adequately address.

Add to that the corexit (dispersant) that many feel is four times more toxic than the oil and gases coming out of the gulf, which appear to be causing some forms of sea life and some cases of humans to become sick and hemorrhage internally.

For those who have been getting their information from the main stream media and from the statements of government and BP officials, I highly encourage you to check out alternate news sites to get a little closer to the truth.

Interestingly, one of the most informed and knowledgeable people on the topic of the gulf disaster just happens to be LDS, or at least he grew up in Utah in an LDS home. I don't know what is current religious status is.

He since became a major player in the oil industry. His name is Matthew Simmons

Matt Simmons is the long-time oil financier who has been an outspoken critic of how the Gulf crisis is being handled. (I think he is the son of Roy Simmons of the Zions Bank, banking family)

He has been saying that the real serious problem is not what is being reported in the main stream media or what we've been seeing on the video cameras provided by BP, but rather a leak or leaks that are coming directly from the ocean floor about 10 kilometers from the well..

Although many have been skeptical about some of his claims, both BP and the government have recently begun to confirm some of what he has been saying all along.

"This is NOT good! As far as I know no technology exists that can seal a leak that's coming directly from the ocean floor. We really may not be out of the woods yet on this thing."

Here is a segment of an interview that he did-

SIMMONS: ...when you look at the riser [on the live BP video], you realize that you're looking at a twenty-one-and-a-half inch circumference riser, and there looks like somewhere between a six and seven inch rip on the top. So the stuff coming out -- it looks like a lot, but I actually saw a white fish go through it and come out white. So I said, this isn't the same as this brown, gooey, orange stuff that they found in the plume seven miles away. And I still believe that what happened is that the riser blew off the wellhead, and it's hooked onto the rig; so you've got a mile of oil inside that that's pretty light concentrate. So that's what they're actually trying to get out. So it's not sure that -- luckily they placed the top kill correctly. But now they have to see if it will take mud. It probably will take mud. But then they shouldn't delude themselves that they've stopped the spill; they should now go and say, 'Let's figure out what the plume was all about,' because if THAT'S the hole, and the casing blew out, we have an enormous problem.

RATIGAN: ...so you're saying that the video we're all now looking at right now is not the only leak, is that what you're saying?

SIMMONS: That's a tiny leak, and what the scientists are saying watching this stain spread -- it's now bigger, I gather, than Maryland and Delaware, and several hundred feet thick, and it's gooey stuff -- that's NOT coming out of there; they think that it's flowing at 120,000 barrels a day. It would almost have to be that big to flow that wide.

RATIGAN: And where do you believe the second outlet is relative to what we're seeing on the video, Matt?

SIMMONS: What the research vessel found a week ago Sunday [referring to news reports of May 16, 2010] was this giant plume about six miles away, and then this huge layer of goo on the ocean floor... that's almost certain- I mean, maybe it's a natural fracture -- I think that's where the wellhead is.

Tin it he speaks of the Big Lie and how BP has been involved in a cover up and he refers to this as the largest global calamity in history as well as the greatest cover up in history…. He charactorizes it as a crime against the planet that rivals ww two, he explains how a relief well cannot work without casing… and there is not casing… he speaks about how the only possible solution is a detonation. It has now been 90 days since 100,000 barrels a day is flowing into the sea, the gaping whole in the sea bed is completely different than the small well casing that everyone if focusing on and how lethal the toxic gases are that are being emitted

BP has confirmed that there is an oil leak on the sea floor several miles away from the Deepwater Horizon's damaged blowout preventer. The undisclosed specific location of the sub- sea leak is reported to be billowing oil and deadly methane gas.

BP is now admitting that there is seeping on the ocean floor in other places and saying it may not be caused from their well.

The Drudge Report has now cited an article indicating that the gulf is emitting methane which is a million times higher than normal.

Scientists are now puzzled as to why the pressure measured at the well cap is lower than expected. They fear the worst case scenario -- oil leaking into the bedrock surrounding the well, making the seabed unstable.

There are some reports saying that the military has removed all ships from the gulf and all major assets in the gulf states have been moved at least 100 miles inland.

Other reports claim that not only dolphans, but people involved in the clean up are hemmoraging internally as a result of the toxic dispersant that BP insists on continuing to use-

"we have dolphins that are hemorrhaging. People who work near it are hemorrhaging internally. And that's what dispersants are supposed to do... Congressman Markey and Nadler, as well as Senator Mikulski, have been heroes... Mark Kaufman, EPA whistleblower, Democracy Now!"

Poisoning millions of people

In its report, EPA Whistleblower Accuses Agency of Covering Up Effects of Dispersant in BP Oil Spill Cleanup, Democracy Now! states that "many lawmakers and advocacy groups say the Obama administration is not being candid about the lethal effects of dispersants," so Amy Goodman interviewed Hugh Kaufman, a senior policy analyst at the EPA's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response and a leading critic of the decision to use Corexit" who disclosed how the officials are lying about many things related to the catastrophe poisoning "millions of people." (Listen: Real Audio Strea or MP3 Download)

The rushed transcript includes Kaufman saying, "And I think the media now has to follow the money, just as they did in Watergate, and tell the American people who's getting money for poisoning the millions of people in the Gulf. (Emphasis added)

Yet other reports are claiming that the government has made plans for the evacuation of some 20 million people that live in the Gulf States once the desolating sickness from the gulf begins to wreak havoc. (possibly complicated and spread by a hurricane)

I have seen some interesting reports that indicate that upper level management at BP had been previously been warned by scientists that they should not drill where the current calamity is taking place. Research had already been done, previous to the drilling of the well, which showed that the high pressure oil volcano would erupt if they did.

Other reports indicate that President Obama has turned down many many offers of help from other countries who have offered man power, physical assets and technology to help clean up the oil.

Many believe that BP is not making a serious effort to clean up the gulf, either because they feel the effort would be futile or because the devastation taking place has been planned.

Ex-president Clinton and others including Simmons have intimated that a nuclear detonation is the only way to seal off the leaks to contain the oil gusher… although many, including Simmons, claim that a nuclear detonation is safe, there is a curious prophecy, pointed out to me by a friend, that might apply to the real use behind such an explosion-

The Book of Joseph 3:4-5 "Behold [knowledge] shall increase in the latter time. And men shall make weapons of war; yea, even terrible weapons which shall touch the power of the Most High. The Seed of Jacob shall believe a lie, wherein the terrible weapons shall be for the protection of their lands. And wo unto them for the people shall be deceived.."

Could it possibly be that the use of a nuclear detonation under the guise of protecting the lands of America from this oil gusher could actually be used to destroy and collapse the ocean floor and create an astronomical catastrophe?

Some conspiracy theorists are convinced that this is an intentional act of war (perhaps by a worldwide secret combination) and that the events that are transpiring before our very eyes are part of a plan to destroy and enslave the people of America and bring some to destruction and others into total submission.

The article in this link provides evidence that BP has been paying scientists to keep their research from the public

It is very ironic that BRITISH petroleum is behind this catastrophe. How odd that remnants of the gentiles initially left England to get away from oppression only to be oppressed in secret ways from that time until the present, ultimately resulting in this crisis.

A look at who owns stock in BP is revealing, yet, the deeper part of the story is that those in whose hearts Satan reigns ultimately take their orders from corporations and governments that to the bidding of the Crown and the Crown takes it orders from the Vatican.

As you all know, I have never heard a conspiracy theory I didn't absolutely love! LOL

The storyline being presented above suggests perhaps the mother of all conspiracy theories nevertheless, I am not providing much documentation about any of the things mentioned above because at this point, I don't feel a need to try to convince anyone of my general premise.

I am simply documenting from a scriptural point of view why I feel that the disaster in the gulf represents, at least in part, the beginning of the going forth of the curse spoken of in Isaiah and Malachi as well as the worldwide calamity mentioned in section one.

My goal is simply to document what scripture tells us about these events that are unfolding before our eyes.

We can look back at these statements at some point in the future and people will be able to see that my speculations were wrong or that these contentions were correct.

Now then, for the scriptural meat in part two of this series on the curse and calamity in the gulf of Mexico-

I want to look at the gulf crisis today through a different lens of prophetic utterances in the Book of Mormon.

The passages of prophecy that I am going to address are probably considered by most gospel scholars to be non-literal.

I suspect they consider them to be an ALLEGORY.

An allegory is an abstract representation of principals or ideas through the use of characters, figures or events. It is an extended metaphor, especially a story in which fictional characters and actions are used to understand and express aspects of concepts relating to human existence. It is a figurative mode of representation conveying meaning other than the literal. Allegory communicates its message by means of symbolic figures

Having reviewed what an allegory is, I am now going to address a prophecy that I have always considered to be an allegory until just a few short months ago.

The PIT that is digged for the destruction of men by the great and abominable church

I am referring to the passages of scripture that foretell about the GREAT PIT that is dug by the great and abominable church for the destruction of Gods people.

According to prophecy, the pit is dug BEFORE the marvelous work and a wonder goes forth!

scripture informs us that eventually the Lord turns the tables on the great church and they end up falling into the great pit that they had dug.

Can you imagine anything more ridiculous that to believe that a literal, physical pit could ever be large enough to destroy Gods people… or big enough for the church of the devil to fall into?

Laughable right?

Perhaps…

But perhaps not.

Lets take a look at two separate prophetic passages that speak literally of a pit that is digged as a preparatory and preliminary event to the marvelous work and a wonder.

1^st Nephi 14 The Marvelous Work and the Pit

Notice the literal context laid out in the beginning of the chapter-

1 And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks—

2 And harden not their hearts against the Lamb of God, they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father; yea, they shall be numbered among the house of Israel; and they shall be a blessed people upon the promised land forever; they shall be no more brought down into captivity; and the house of Israel shall no more be confounded.

That is pretty straight forward… and literal right?

Chapter 14 is a prophecy about a literal event that is going to take place in the latter days.

We know, from previous discussions that the foundation work of the 1800's was not a time of POWER… only a time of the coming forth of Gods WORD.

In the third watch, God will manifest himself in both WORD and POWER.

The time is going to come when God will take away the stumbling blocks of the gentiles and the repentant among them that do not harden their hearts against the Lamb of God will be numbered among the seed of the house of Israel and they will be blessed upon the land of promise forever.

But look at the rest of the passage, there is nothing to indicate that all of the sudden the prophesy is changing into an allegory and no longer being literal!

3 And that great pit, which hath been digged for them by that great and abominable church, which was founded by the devil and his children, that he might lead away the souls of men down to hell—yea, that great pit which hath been digged for the destruction of men shall be filled by those who digged it, unto their utter destruction, saith the Lamb of God; not the destruction of the soul, save it be the casting of it into that hell which hath no end.

4 For behold, this is according to the captivity of the devil, and also according to the justice of God, upon all those who will work wickedness and abomination before him.

This is really quite astounding.

If we simply take the second part of this passage of prophecy to be literal like unto the first part of the prophecy, then we are led to believe that the great church of the devil will literally dig a literal whole in the earth for the purposes of destroying the saints of God and perhaps even mankind.

Remember some of the previous posts and other articles about the Denver airport, the seed vault, and the many underground places of refuge that the elite have built so that they can hide from the tribulation while the inhabitants of the earth are destroyed?

Can it really be possible that the secret combination is that sinister that they are attempting to destroy mankind from off the face of the earth?

Now look at verse seven

For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men; a work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.

The marvelous work is not just about the spiritual separation between those who accept the gospel and those who don't… it is about the literal, temporal, captivity and eventual destruction of those who are not convinced because of the hardness of their hearts!

Notice in verse13 how the great mother of abomination gathers multitudes from all nations to fight against the lamb of God!

And it came to pass that I beheld that the great mother of abominations did gather together multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to fight against the Lamb of God.

And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were armed with righteousness and with the power of God in great glory.

Lets take another look at a passage from the controversial Book of Joseph to see a possible correlating scripture pertaining to the gathering of the wicked to make war against the Lord-

The Book of Joseph 3:6 "And the Lord showed Jacob a vision, and said: behold, the mighty men of the earth shall lay an awful scheme by the word of their god, that they should destroy the Lord when he shall visit men at the appointed time when he shall reward the sons of men according to their works.

And all nations shall gather in the heart of the earth [Jackson county?] to make war with the Lord, even the almighty king of heaven and earth.

Wo, wo wo unto the chief princes of the earth, even unto the seed of Dan, who hath made gold their god and a lie their refuge. Who have said among themselves: the Lord is no god wherein we should fear him, for by our mighty power have we become gods ourselves and have spread abroad ourselves over all the earth. yet shall they be judged and cut off from among the sons of Jacob.

Thus sayeth the Lord: the wicked plot in vain. And they shall drink from the cup of vanity which they have grasped: for the Lord himself shall utterly destroy them all by the brightness of his terrible presence. And lo, those who plot in vain have over him a king; even he whose name is the liar from the beginning…"

Not only does this agree with the BofM about the wicked gathering to make war against Christ, it seems to imply that the wicked already know when the appointed time of his arrival is and they are already devising their strategy to use their weaponry to destroy him and his people!

Remarkable!

Now lets look at how the 22^nd chapter of 1st Nephi picks up on the PIT storyline without skipping a beat and again, there is no indication that the story about the pit is any less literal than everything else being spoken of-

10 And I would, my brethren, that ye should know that all the kindreds of the earth cannot be blessed unless he shall make bare his arm in the eyes of the nations.

11 Wherefore, the Lord God will proceed to make bare his arm in the eyes of all the nations, in bringing about his covenants and his gospel unto those who are of the house of Israel.

12 Wherefore, he will bring them again out of captivity, and they shall be gathered together to the lands of their inheritance; and they shall be brought out of obscurity and out of darkness; and they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

13 And the blood of that great and abominable church, which is the whore of all the earth, shall turn upon their own heads; for they shall war among themselves, and the sword of their own hands shall fall upon their own heads, and they shall be drunken with their own blood.

14 And every nation which shall war against thee, O house of Israel, shall be turned one against another, and they shall fall into the pit which they digged to ensnare the people of the Lord. And all that fight against Zion shall be destroyed, and that great whore, who hath perverted the right ways of the Lord, yea, that great and abominable church, shall tumble to the dust and great shall be the fall of it.

15 For behold, saith the prophet, the time cometh speedily that Satan shall have no more power over the hearts of the children of men; for the day soon cometh that all the proud and they who do wickedly shall be as stubble; and the day cometh that they must be burned.

16 For the time soon cometh that the fulness of the wrath of God shall be poured out upon all the children of men; for he will not suffer that the wicked shall destroy the righteous.

17 Wherefore, he will preserve the righteous by his power, even if it so be that the fulness of his wrath must come, and the righteous be preserved, even unto the destruction of their enemies by fire. Wherefore, the righteous need not fear; for thus saith the prophet, they shall be saved, even if it so be as by fire.

18 Behold, my brethren, I say unto you, that these things must shortly come; yea, even blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke must come; and it must needs be upon the face of this earth; and it cometh unto men according to the flesh if it so be that they will harden their hearts against the Holy One of Israel.

19 For behold, the righteous shall not perish; for the time surely must come that all they who fight against Zion shall be cut off.

Do a key word search on obscurity and darkness. This is the time, according to section one, that the only true and living church comes forth! That is correct, the living church that is mentioned in D&C 1: 30 is speaking of a ZION CHURCH! It is not referring to the 2^nd watch, it is referring to the third watch!

Compare the following passes from section one and 1^st Nephi 22. They are both speaking about the time when the only true church comes forth as the LIVING church. In other words, the church is actually living gospel law, living consecration, establishing Zion, experiencing the full baptism of water, fire and holy ghost!

Lets look at the two passages of scripture and how they are speaking about the same event in the 3rd watch-

1 Nephi 22

10 And I would, my brethren, that ye should know that all the kindreds of the earth cannot be blessed unless he shall make bare his arm in the eyes of the nations.

11 Wherefore, the Lord God will proceed to make bare his arm in the eyes of all the nations, in bringing about his covenants and his gospel unto those who are of the house of Israel.

12 Wherefore, he will bring them again out of captivity, and they shall be gathered together to the lands of their inheritance; and they shall be brought out of obscurity and out of darkness; and they shall know that the Lord is their Savior and their Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.

D&C 1:30

29 And after having received the record of the Nephites, yea, even my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., might have power to translate through the mercy of God, by the power of God, the Book of Mormon.

30 And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth [at a future time] out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually—

Both passages of scripture are speaking of the 3^rd watch when the servants unite all of the believing remnants of Israel into the LIVING CHURCH when Zion is redeemed!

Now, to wrap things up-

Both 1^st Nephi 14 & 22 appear to speak about the digging of a huge pit as a literal event.

I believe the pit that has been digged by the great church may just have something to do with the curse that is going forth.

It just may have to do with the great calamity that is to be taking place when the servants return.

And it may just have to do with the calamity taking place in the Gulf of Mexico.

The CURSE and the CALAMITY

As mentioned in a previous post on another blog site, I believe the CURSE that goes forth and eventually devours the earth and makes it desolate, spoken of by Isaiah in chapter 24 is what D&C 1:17 refers to as the CALAMITY that comes upon the inhabitants of the earth!

The curse, according to Isaiah is caused as a result of the everlasting covenant previously being broken by Gods people. (We have already discussed in other posts how an intercessory act by Gods anointed delayed the curse from going forth)

(I also believe Isaiah also refers to the gulf of Mexico as the "Tongue of the Egyptian Sea")

I believe this curse is very possibly what removes the wicked from Gods holy places so that God's people can gather, consecrate and stand in holy places.

This is why ancient prophecy speaks of the righteous inheriting the "waste places of Zion".

How many global calamities took place during the ministry of the prophet Joseph Smith during the first watch?

None that I am aware of.

How many global calamities that had or have the potential to affect the all of the INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH have taken place since that time?

Certainly not very many... if any.

Is it a coincidence, as we near the end of the first 3 1/2 year period of judgment prophesied in Genesis 15 that a calamity of global proportions has begun to go forth in the earth?

Section one and Isaiah 28 appear to inform us that the arrival of God's servant(s) takes place at the time of a global calamity.

As this calamity progresses and spreads and begins to further devastate the waters, air, plant life, animal life and human life, I will be providing additional passages from ancient and modern prophesy that speak of this global tragedy.

A few weeks ago I googled "gulf of Mexico" AND "calamity" just to see if some of the articles from the main stream media were referring to this tragedy as a CALAMITY. According to poetic justice, many were.

This calamity in the gulf is perhaps one of the most significant signs that the One Mighty and Strong is about to make his appearance and to confront the latter day pharaoh and to bring forth additional records and participate in the proclamation to the kings of the earth and to redeem Zion.

Why BP is readying a 'super weapon' to avert escalating Gulf nightmare

In a desperate attempt to stop a huge area of the Gulf ocean floor from possibly rupturing due to subterranean methane gas (leading to a calamity no human has ever seen) BP has ripped a page from science fiction books.

The giant oil company is now quietly preparing to test a small nuclear device in a frenzied rush against time to quell a cascading catastrophe. If successful they will have the capability to detonate a controlled fusion generated pulse.

While the world watches BP's attempt to contain the oil gusher at the former Deepwater Horizon site, company officials have given the green light on an astounding plan to use what is known as a nuclear EPFCG charge if all else fails.

Sea floor compromised

Reports still indicate that methane is flooding the Gulf waters at a rate one million times more than normal, and the NOAA research vessel, Thomas Jefferson has reported spotting new fissures. [1]

Last week the science ship stunned some reporters with the revelation that the oceanographic team had discovered and measured a rift in the ocean floor miles from the BP wellhead. The rift was reported to be more than 100 feet long and widening. Oil and methane continues to plume from that rift.

BP has also admitted damage beneath the sea floor. [2]

PS I realize many will challenge the credibility of the content of the above article. I only used it because it was the most recent I have seen to use the word calamity. For those who doubt that the nuclear option is seriously being considered, simply google it. There are many reports from different sources stating that it is being considered.

I also realize there are still logs of naysayers who don't think the gulf problem is all that serious or they think it will be fixed by human technology. I have a huge wealth of information about the gulf that would disagree with these views, however, I am not interested in trying to convince doubters about the seriousness of this problem. )

Watching for the Sayings AND the Servants

One of the best definitions pertaining to the distinction between the preparatory foundation work of the 2^nd watch that was laid in the 1800's and the Marvelous Work that is about to take place in the 3^rd watch, is found in ^st Nephi 14-

"And it shall come to pass, that if the Gentiles shall hearken unto the Lamb of God in that day that he shall manifest himself unto them in word, and also in power, in very deed, unto the taking away of their stumbling blocks— And harden not their hearts against the Lamb of God, they shall be numbered among the seed of thy father; yea, they shall be numbered among the house of Israel; and they shall be a blessed people upon the promised land forever; they shall be no more brought down into captivity; and the house of Israel shall no more be confounded. And that great pit, which hath been digged for them by that great and abominable church, which was founded by the devil and his children, that he might lead away the souls of men down to hell—yea, that great pit which hath been digged for the destruction of men shall be filled by those who digged it, unto their utter destruction, saith the Lamb of God; not the destruction of the soul, save it be the casting of it into that hell which hath no end." (1^st Nephi 14)

When the first portion of the unsealed plates were translated and published back in the 1820-30's it was the time when God manifested himself in WORD.

However, according to the above passages, in the 3^rd watch he will manifest himself in both WORD and POWER resulting in the taking away of our stumbling blocks.

3^rd Nephi 26 elaborates on this distinction between the foundation work and the marvelous work pointing out that the LESSOR portion of Gods word came forth first to the gentiles for the purpose of trying their faith.

Those that believe the lesser portion of Gods word will eventually be given the greater things.

"But behold the plates of Nephi do contain the more part of the things which he taught the people. And these things have I written, which are a lesser part of the things which he taught the people; and I have written them to the intent that they may be brought again unto this people, from the Gentiles, according to the words which Jesus hath spoken. And when they shall have received this, which is expedient that they should have first, to try their faith, and if it shall so be that they shall believe these things then shall the greater things be made manifest unto them. And if it so be that they will not believe these things, then shall the greater things be withheld from them, unto their condemnation." 3^rd Nephi 26

The greater things come forth at a later time.

Those that reject the greater things when they come forth, either by refusing to read them when they come forth, or by rejecting them after reading them, will be condemned.

3^rd Nephi 29 reveals one of the most important signs that we need to be looking for pertaining to the beginning of the Marvelous Work.

Yes it is true that there are signs in the heavens and the earth that pertain to the beginning of the Marvelous Work. In previous posts we have discussed these signs and noted that they appear to be in place.

Additionally we have been told about the wickedness of the human race at the time when the marvelous work takes place as well, but there is another great sign that is mentioned.

"And now behold, I say unto you that when the Lord shall see fit, in his wisdom, that these sayings shall come unto the Gentiles according to his word, then ye may know that the covenant which the Father hath made with the children of Israel, concerning their restoration to the lands of their inheritance, is already beginning to be fulfilled." (3^rd nephi 29)

Some people assume that "these saying" in the above passage is referring to the Book of Mormon that we currently have to day, and therefore they assume that the marvelous work began about a few hundred years ago. However, if you go back a few chapters and read forward until you get to these verses to get context, you will find that it is speaking about the sayings that contain the greater things.

The sayings that contain the greater things which were withheld during the foundation movement are what come forth at the time of the Marvelous Work in the 3^rd watch. That is when Israel is gathered and restored to the lands of their inheritance for the final time!

That is when the great whore of the earth will have digged a pitt for the saints of God but will end up falling into it themselves.

Obviously, if the coming forth of the sayings containing the greater things is a great sign that the final work has commenced, then the servants who have been commissioned to bring the greater things forth must also return so they can bring these words forth. The return of the servants is also a sign that the work has commenced.

We need to be watching for the records that come forth and for the servants that bring them.

The Major Signs Appear to be in Place

The major signs in the heavens and the sign of the coming of the son of Man, which begins as a small light and grows bigger and bigger until the world can see that it is Christ approaching the earth in his glory, cannot take place until AFTER the first laborers of the last kingdom return and bring forth the unsealed part of the words contained in the sealed book and give the final warning and seal up the law and bind up the testimony.

Those latter day saints who do not understand that the Saints need to be gathered and Zion will be established BEFORE the coming of the Lord in his glory are no better off than the protestants with the corrupted King James Version of the Bible for their guide.

Those who are simply looking for the signs of the final coming of the Son of man in his glory to judge the wicked will realize when they see them that they have missed the gathering and great will be their sorrow!

It is critical to realize that there are at least two groups of signs mentioned in the scriptures. The first group of signs herald the return of Gods servants followed by the return of the Lord in secret.

The second set of signs herald the return of Christ in his glory to judge the world.

The signs that precede the return of the servants appear to be pretty close to being in place.

As discussed in another post, the signs that precede the return of the coming forth of the servants and the sacred records in the 3^rd watch according to Mormon 8 and 2^nd Nephi 27 are as follows

The nations of the gentiles and the Jews will be drunken with iniquity and all manner of abominations ✔
People will say miracles are done away ✔
The blood of the saints shall cry from the ground because of secret combinations ✔
Churches have become defiled and are built up to get gain (huge emphasis on collecting money from the poor) love of money, fine apparel, the adorning of churches ✔
Fires, Tempests and VAPORS OF SMOKE IN FOREIGN LANDS✔
Wars and rumors of wars ✔
Earthquakes in divers places✔
GREAT POLUTIONS UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH✔
Murders, robbing, lying, decievings & whoredoms ✔

We are informed in lectures on faith that there will be a gathered and consecrated people waiting for the Lord before he returns.

Furthermore, Mormon 8 reveals that zion will already be established on the earth BEFORE the Lord of hosts visits the earth with GREAT NOISE, STORM, TEMPEST, AND THE FLAME OF DEVOURING FIRE.

Section 88 concurs. The sequence given is as follows

That the servants are sent AGAIN to fulfill the mission they have been commissioned to testify and warn the people (80-81)
They will bind up the law and seal the testimony and prepare the saints for the hour of judgment which is to come that their souls may escape the desolation of abomination which is to come! (84)
After the last testimony of the servants will be the testimony of earthquakes, thunderings, lightnings, tempests, waves heaving themselves beyond their bounds and all things shall be in commotion! (88-91)
The earth shall tremble and reel to and fro (87)
The sun shall hide his face (87)
The stars shall cast themselves down (87)

Section 84 concurs with section 88 that the servants will return to prepare the saints to escape the desolation of abomination. It is their calling to explain to us clearly and understandably what the desolation of abomination is and how we can avoid becoming one of the casualties of it.

It is the responsibility of the anointed servants of the Lord to provide explanations of what the desolation of abomination is.

Beware of false teachers that deny modern revelation and deny the literal fulfillment of ALL of Gods unconditional promises and try to get you to focus exclusively on the second set of signs and the final coming of the Lord in glory to judge the world, for if you reject the servants and refuse to repent and be gathered in, you will be among those other false factions of apostate Christianity who will be taken by surprise when the Lord does return in glory.

You will be among all the tribes of the earth that mourn when they see him coming!

You will be among those fooligh virgins that are without oil in their lamps who are anxiously knocking on the door of the wedding chamber which has been closed and locked.

The Lord is pleading with you,

"hearken unto my voice, lest death shall overtake you; in an hour when ye think not the summer shall be past, and the harvest ended, and your souls not saved."

It appears that the last signs to take place just prior to the return of the servants and the coming forth of the records are pretty close to being in place!

Zechariah informs us that the Marvelous Work begins when God returns the "Brand" prophet to the earth and exchanges his filthy garments for clean ones. He also brings forth the "Branch" prophet who builds the temple.

These two Servants, the Seer and the Spokesman will be accompanied by their "fellows".

Among their fellows are a quorum of seven servants who act as the eyes of the Lord.

They run to and fro in the whole earth!

Who are these nine servants who have been bound and consecrated together by covenant?

There is an interesting passage of scripture in section 82 that may be applicable.

As an interesting recent event and possible coincidence, or possible sign in the earth, a recent crop circle located within a few miles of stonehedge is depicting seven small circles next to two larger circles.

It also shows six circular images crossing over the largest top circle, possibly referring to a separate quorum of six.

Is this one of the signs in the earth that we have been warned about?

And it shall come to pass that he that feareth me shall be looking forth for the great day of the Lord to come, even for the signs of the coming of the Son of Man. And they shall see signs and wonders, for they shall be shown forth in the heavens above, and in the earth beneath. And they shall behold blood, and fire, and vapors of smoke." (45: 39-41)

Here is an interesting story about the crop circle-

"The first week in May we witness the first English Crop Circle in southern Wiltshire. The area around Old Sarum is certainly not an active part of the countryside for the phenomenon. In fact it has only witnessed a few events of the last two decades, which makes this 'Curtain Opener' to the 2010 season quite a surprise. Many of the researchers and followers of the Connector were probably expecting the Avebury area to 'take the prize' for the first official Crop Circle in 2010. Perhaps this is the start of a migration for the Circle makers? Only time will tell!

The last time a crop circle appeared close to Old Sarum was 5th June 1992 and 1st August 2006

UPDATE:

On further investigation, it would appear the positioning of the crop circle in relation to Old Sarum, actually lies on the direct path of a very well know Ley Line which has an alignment with Stonehenge, (which is only two miles a way!) and cuts the nearside edge of the inner banks of the fortified encampment of Old Sarum. This Ley Line then straight through Salisbury Cathedral itself, and the hillforts of Clearbury Rings and then Frankenbury Camp in Hampshire.

This clearly indicates that the positioning of Crop Circles could indeed be connected with Ley Lines, which are aligned to well known Ancient Sites. Are we being shown a doorway to ancient knowledge? Will we find the key in 2010?

We need to be watching for the records to come forth with the return of the servants. There will be two primary servants, a quorum of seven and possibly a quorum of six. According to Micah, a quorum of eight principal men will also accompany the seven shepherds.

Don't be surprised if those servants who were high profile in the 2nd watch initially take a low profile stance in the background, making the test focus on our ability to discern the truth or error in the records that are published and brought forth by others.

Obviously, false records from false prophets could also be part of the test.

Vapors of Smoke in Foreign Lands

Would you be surprised to find out that the prophecy about the ancient record mentioned in Isaiah 29 and 2nd Nephi 27 is not referring to the record Joseph Smith translated known to day as the Book of Mormon that came forth from the unsealed portion of the plates back in the 1800's?

In this post I want to discuss why I believe-

2^nd Nephi 27 is speaking about the 3^rd watch and not the 2^nd watch and why verse 9 is speaking about the Seer and the Spokesman

The recent activity in volcanoes in foreign lands may be an indicator that the Servants are about to return very soon with additional records that will be published.

The coming forth of the Book of Mormon and the additional content contained in the sealed portion represents a THREE PART event which takes place during THREE SEPARATE AND DISTINCT PERIODS OF TIME. The first part of the event took place during the 2^nd watch when the unsealed portion came forth. The second part will take place at the beginning of the 3^rd watch with the coming forth of the "unsealed words" contained in the sealed portion of the book. The last and final part of the event takes place towards the later part of the 3^rd watch when the "sealed words" contained in the sealed portion come forth. That portion of the sealed book contains a vision of the events from the beginning of the earth to the ending thereof.

Over the past few weeks I have read a little bit about the Iceland Volcano with interest and blogged a little about it. Recently someone sent the following Pics of the volcano in Iceland to Mrs Watcher and she passed them on to me.

I then found the video which is posted below-

One day while pondering about the volcano, the following scripture came into my mind.

"Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be heard of fires, and tempests, and vapors of smoke in foreign lands"

It is found in Mormon 8.

After re-reading Mormon 8 in the context of current world events I am going to suggest that the current volcanic activity in foreign lands, most notably Iceland and Santiaguito, could very possibly be a very significant sign that the words from a sealed book are about to come forth. Obviously, the volcanic erruptions could linger for a while before the marvelous work opens, however, the purpose of giving us the signs of the times is so that we can know the approximate time. I therefore am hopeful that the volcanic eruptions will not linger much longer before the work opens. I would not be surprised if Katla erupted within months and then the work begins. The same related passages of scripture may also indicate that a very large earthquake and a loud noise might possibly accompany the opening of the marvelous work.

While the President Elect prophesy appears to indicate that the servants will get back sometime before the 2012 election, the recent fires, tempests and vapors of smoke in foreign lands may indicate that the return of the servants and the publishing of the words from the sealed book could be sooner than later!

Notice how the 8^th Chapter of Moroni seems to equate these volcanic events with the coming forth of the words from the sealed book during the Marvleous Work.

Interpretations in brackets (and sometimes not in brackets) are provided by yours truly-

Search the prophecies of Isaiah. Behold, I cannot write them. Yea, behold I say unto you, that those saints who have gone before me, who have possessed this land, shall cry, yea, even from the dust will they cry unto the Lord; and as the Lord liveth he will remember the covenant which he hath made with them. (When the Lord visited the Nephites in 3^rd Nephi, and other Nephite prophets he promised them that he would remember his covenant with them and the entire house of Israel in the last days. Contrary to popular belief, he did not complete his covenant with them at that time… the fulfilling of the covenant was to be a future event during the marvelous work… See . 3 Ne. 16: 5, 11-12, 3 Ne. 20: 12, 19, 22, 25-27, 29, 460

And he knoweth their prayers, that they were in behalf of their brethren. And he knoweth their faith, for in his name could they remove mountains; and in his name could they cause the earth to shake; and by the power of his word did they cause prisons to tumble to the earth; yea, even the fiery furnace could not harm them, neither wild beasts nor poisonous serpents, because of the power of his word.

And behold, their prayers were also in behalf of him that the Lord should suffer to bring these things forth.

From the above verse we find that the ancient Nephites have been praying from the dust for Joseph Smith to return because they understand that he holds the keys to begin the Marvelous Work in the 3^rd watch and to gather in and restore the covenant with the Nephites and all of Israel. see D&C 14, 35:25, 39:11, 86:11, 90:6-10, 103:16-17

And no one need say they shall not come, for they surely shall, for the Lord hath spoken it; for out of the earth shall they come, by the hand of the Lord, and none can stay it; and it shall come in a day when it shall be said that miracles are done away; and it shall come even as if one should speak from the dead. [ this prophecy has a dual fulfillment, Moroni was speaking from the dead in the 2^nd watch AND Joseph Smith will indeed verily return and will speak from the dead in the 3^rd watch]

And it shall come in a day when the blood of saints shall cry unto the Lord, because of secret combinations and the works of darkness. [He is speaking about a prolonged period of time, to the Saints of the 2^nd watch leading up to the Saints of the 3^rd watch prophesying that they will have secret combinations and works of darkness among themselves within the Church]

Yea, it shall come in a day when the power of God shall be denied, and churches become defiled and be lifted up in the pride of their hearts; yea, even in a day when leaders of churches and teachers shall rise in the pride of their hearts, even to the envying of them who belong to their churches. [again, the time period spoken of appears to covers four generations of time, from the restoration of the church until the Marvelous Work begins. It began back in Kirtland and Nauvoo. It was then that the church became defiled not now. The church has been defiled for over 160 years!]

Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be heard of fires, and tempests, and vapors of smoke in foreign lands;

[This is a great key. We know that the four generation time period during which the book begins to come forth began back in Kirtland and Nauvoo when the church was restored and then became defiled, but when do the words of the sealed portion finally begin to come forth?

It appears as if it is four generations later, when fires, tempests and vapors of smoke are heard of in Foreign lands!!!!!

Is the Iceland Volcano a major sign of the times leading up to the coming forth of the words from the sealed book?]

And there shall also be heard of wars, rumors of wars, and earthquakes in divers places.

It seems like there have been wars and rumors of wars for a prolonged period of time, which, of by themselves do not constitute a significant sign of the times.

However, wars and rumors of wars lining up at the same time as an increase in large earthquakes along with great oil spills and pollutions along with the activity of volcanoes that are billowing enough vapors to temporarily cancel 14,000 flights might just be a very unusual and significant correlation of events which is alluded to in prophecy!

Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be great pollutions upon the face of the earth; there shall be murders, and robbing, and lying, and deceivings, and whoredoms, and all manner of abominations; when there shall be many who will say, Do this, or do that, and it mattereth not, for the Lord will uphold such at the last day. But wo unto such, for they are in the gall of bitterness and in the bonds of iniquity.

Yea, it shall come in a day when there shall be churches built up that shall say: Come unto me, and for your money you shall be forgiven of your sins.

O ye wicked and perverse and stiffnecked people, why have ye built up churches unto yourselves to get gain? Why have ye transfigured the holy word of God, that ye might bring damnation upon your souls? Behold, look ye unto the revelations of God; for behold, the time cometh at that day when all these things must be fulfilled.

Behold, the Lord hath shown unto me great and marvelous things concerning that which must shortly come, at that day when these things [wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, pollutions, volcanoes and ancient records] shall come forth among you.

Behold, I speak unto you as if ye were present, and yet ye are not. But behold, Jesus Christ hath shown you unto me, and I know your doing.

And I know that ye do walk in the pride of your hearts; and there are none save a few only who do not lift themselves up in the pride of their hearts, unto the wearing of very fine apparel, unto envying, and strifes, and malice, and persecutions, and all manner of iniquities; and your churches, yea, even every one, have become polluted because of the pride of your hearts.

For behold, ye do love money, and your substance, and your fine apparel, and the adorning of your churches, more than ye love the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted.

O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers, who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness than that misery which never dies—because of the praise of the world?

Why do ye adorn yourselves with that which hath no life, and yet suffer the hungry, and the needy, and the naked, and the sick and the afflicted to pass by you, and notice them not?

Yea, why do ye build up your secret abominations to get gain, and cause that widows should mourn before the Lord, and also orphans to mourn before the Lord, and also the blood of their fathers and their husbands to cry unto the Lord from the ground, for vengeance upon your heads?

Behold, the sword of vengeance hangeth over you; and the time soon cometh that he avengeth the blood of the saints upon you, for he will not suffer their cries any longer.

Moroni 8 seems to be speaking to all five generations of Saints, from those living during the generation of time that the time the church was restored to those living in this generation, yet the time that the book comes forth is identified by very specific signs that are all present NOW.

It was the amazing information contained in Mormon 8 that led me to another passage of scripture that seems much more focused on our current time and the beginning of the Marvelous Work.

If we do a key word search of "tempest" and "fire" to find related prophesies pertaining to the storyline contained within Mormon 8, we are led to the The Book of Mormon version of Isaiah 29 which has been misinterpreted by some latter day saints. Many believe it is prophesying about the coming forth of the Book of Mormon back in 1929 because of the dual fulfillment and parallels having to do with the foundation work back when the foundation of the Marvelous Work was being laid.

Again, many have assumed that much or all of this chapter is referring to the early period of the LDS restoration movement in the 1830's when the foundation of the Marvelous Work was being laid.

However, the first three verses of this chapter reveal that it is taking place AFTER the 2^nd watch, in the beginning of the 3^rd watch!

Furthermore, the entire chapter is speaking categorically about the contents within the SEALED BOOK, it never mentions the unsealed portion of the book!

A strict literal chronological rendering of this chapter provides the following profile of events in light of modern revelation. Some parts of this profile provided by modern revelation (according to my interpretation of it) are put in brackets.

I invite you to re-read 2^nd Nephi 27 while reviewing the following interpretation and see if you don't agree that this chapter is almost exclusively speaking about the Marvelous Work in the 3^rd Watch-

1- In the last days of the Gentiles, all nations of the Gentiles and Jews will be drunken with iniquity and abominations (verse 1)

2- They will be visited by the Lord [including the return of his servants] at a time when earthquakes, storms, tempest and the flame of devouring fire are taking place, as signs of his return [as he returns for the third time in secret as a thief in the night, before his final coming in glory] (verse 2)

3- After his servants return and establish the kingdom of God on earth (Zion)] A multitude of Nations will fight against Zion and distress her, but to no avail!

4- All of the first generation Saints who lived at the time of the foundation movement and those that followed afterwards during the following four generations that have rejected the prophets [Seer & Spokesman] by closing their eyes to the truths that were revealed through them shall stay themselves and wonder and stagger in wonderment and confusion. Our deep sleep of apostasy was put upon us by the Lord because of our rejection of the truth. (verses 4-5)

5- AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS [in other words, at a future time, AFTER the servants return and Zion is established], the Lord will bring forth the words of a book which IS sealed. He doesn't unseal the book and bring forth the words, he brings forth some of the words of the book while the book is sealed!

6-This enables people to view some of the content within the sealed book without being able to see the inside of the book itself. The Saints of the 3^rd watch have to exercise faith and be tested just as the Saints of the 2^nd watch were tested! This is why it is so important to treasure up the word of God and take the Holy Spirit as your guide because you will be required to discern if the words are true! The THINGS which are in the book shall be kept from those who are unbelieving and wicked. It is possible that false books will be coming forth by false prophets at this time to make the the great test even more of a challenge. (6-8)

7- But the Book shall be delivered to a man [the Seer] and he shall deliver some of the words to another man [the Spokesman]. Take a close look at verse 9!

I believe this incredible passage is referring to the seer and the Spokesman and the synergistic relationship between them and the roles between them when the marvelous Work and the Wonder begins!

The Seer brings the words forth, but he Spokesman declares them!

Documentation for the interpretation of the above passage is provided in both the Book of Mormon AND modern revelation;

18 And the Lord said unto me also: I will raise up unto the fruit of thy loins; and I will make for him a spokesman. And I, behold, I will give unto him that he shall write the writing of the fruit of thy loins, unto the fruit of thy loins; and the spokesman of thy loins shall DECLARE it. 2^nd Nephi 3:17-18

Realizing that the Spokesman is responsible to DECLARE the words from the sealed book, look again at the Book of Mormon clarification of Isaiah 52- (3 nephi 21)

"

8 And when that day shall come, it shall come to pass that kings shall shut their mouths; for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.

9 For in that day, for my sake shall the Father work a work, which shall be a great and a marvelous work among them; and there shall be among them those who will not believe it, although a man shall DECLARE it unto them.

10 But behold, the life of my servant shall be in my hand; therefore they shall not hurt him, although he shall be marred because of them. Yet I will heal him, for I will show unto them that my wisdom is greater than the cunning of the devil.

Jeremiah notes that it is at the time of the fall of Babylon that the word is DECLARED

1 The word that the Lord spake against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.

2 DECLARE ye among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.

3 For out of the north there cometh up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast. Jeremiah 50

6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the Lord's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.

7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

10 The Lord hath brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us DECLARE in Zion the work of the Lord our God.

11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the Lord hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the Lord, the vengeance of his temple.

12 Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the Lord hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon.

Modern revelation agrees with ancient prophecy, Sidney and his associates RECEIVE the word from Joseph.

The word will GO FORTH to the ends of the earth from Sidney and his associates.

6 And again, verily I say unto thy brethren, Sidney Rigdon and Frederick G. Williams, their sins are forgiven them also, and they are accounted as equal with thee in holding the keys of this last kingdom;

7 As also through your administration the keys of the school of the prophets, which I have commanded to be organized;

8 That thereby they may be perfected in their ministry for the salvation of Zion, and of the nations of Israel, and of the Gentiles, as many as will believe;

9 That through your administration they may receive the word, and through their administration the word may go forth unto the ends of the earth, unto the Gentiles first, and then, behold, and lo, they shall turn unto the Jews.

10 And then cometh the day when the arm of the Lord shall be ^arevealed in power in convincing the nations, the heathen nations, the house of Joseph, of the gospel of their salvation.

11 For it shall come to pass in that day, that every man shall hear the fulness of the gospel in his own tongue, and in his own language, through those who are ordained unto this power, by the administration of the Comforter, shed forth upon them for the revelation of Jesus Christ. ( D&C 90:6-10)

Sidney is to "proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the gospel of Salvation (90:93)

Sidney is to be the SPOKESMAN and to by mighty in expounding all scripture.

"But a commandment I give unto you, that ye shall declare whatsoever thing ye declare in my name, in solemnity of heart, in the spirit of meekness, in all things.

8 And I give unto you this promise, that inasmuch as ye do this the Holy Ghost shall be shed forth in bearing record unto all things whatsoever ye shall say.

9 And it is expedient in me that you, my servant Sidney, should be a spokesman unto this people; yea, verily, I will ordain you unto this calling, even to be a spokesman unto my servant Joseph.

10 And I will give unto him power to be mighty in testimony.

11 And I will give unto thee power to be mighty in expounding all scriptures, that thou mayest be a spokesman unto him, and he shall be a revelator unto thee, that thou mayest know the certainty of all things pertaining to the things of my kingdom on the earth. (section 100)

9- The Seer shall not deliver the SEALED BOOK or the SEALED WORDS within the book. However some of the words within the sealed book will not be sealed and will be delivered during the earlier part of the Marvelous Work, as a test for the wicked and as a testimony for the righteous. There are certain WORDS within the sealed book that are SEALED, having to do with the revelation of what happens from the beginning to the end of the earth. In other words, some times these passages speak of the BOOK being SEALED, sometimes they speak of certain WORDS within the book being SEALED! ( Verse 10)

10- At a future time, after the great test, after probation is over and it is too late to repent, all of the words in the sealed book will be read from the housetops by the power of Christ, revealing all of the secret acts of men from the beginning of the world to the end thereof. (verse 11)

11- At the time when the Sealed Book shall be delivered to the Seer, the physical book shall be hidden from the eyes of the world except for THREE WITNESSES! We can only speculate who these three witnesses will be. It could be that Oliver, David and Martin will return and complete their missions as the original three witnesses of the Book of Mormon. It could be that three of the first three High Priests of the dispensation who preside over the Marvelous Work could be the witnesses as well. Another possibility is that it could be that three repentant mortals from our current generation may be called to be witnesses. Wow, what an honor that would be to be a witness of the record! (verse12) One last possibility is that the three witnesses of the 3rd watch are the three Nephites (see 3 Nephi 28)

12- It is possible that a few others may have the privilege of viewing the sealed book but if so, they apparently don't have the same calling as the three witnesses who are required to testify to the world. (verse 13)

13- It is under these circumstances that the Lord will PROCEED (begin) the process of bringing forth some of the words of the sealed Book! And wo to those who reject that portion of words that are brought forth during the time of wickedness at the beginning of the Marvelous Work in the 3^rd watch! (verse 14)

14- Yes, there is going to be a repeat of an event that happened during the 2^nd watch which was only a shadow fulfillment of this prophecy! The words will be taken by the Spokesman or one of the witnesses to a "learned" man and he will be asked to read them, but the learned man will only be willing to read them if the book can be produced! It appears that this is because he wants the glory of being able to look at the reformed Egyptian characters or at the physical book and render a professional opinion based on his scholarship and worldly learning as to whether it is a forgery or not. (verses 15- 18) [Update: NEPT brought to my attn that a closer look at the wording of these passages suggests that perhaps 1- the "learned man" is actually "learned men", plural. 2- He also points out that the text makes no mention of Egyptian character. It is simply the translated passages that the servant is ask the learned men to read. Interesting and important observations! See also the comments emailed to me by Malachi which I have included in the comment section]

15- In summary, the Lord will deliver the book that is sealed AGAIN to the same Seer that he had delivered it to in the 2^nd watch, who is not learned. The Lord will tell the Seer that the learned shall not be allowed to see the book because they have rejected the words. The Lord will state that "I am able to do my own work" of translation and I will show you the portion of words that are to go forth, just as I showed them to you in your mind during the work of translation the first time, during the 2^nd watch! "Therefore don't touch the things that are sealed". I will bring them forth after the separation of the wheat and the tares. (verses 19- 23)

16- Etc., etc., etc.

Two things really struck me this time while reading the above passages.

First, the words of the sealed book come forth at a time when there are wars and rumors of wars while fires and tempests and vapors of smoke are being reported in foreign lands, which I find to be very exciting because it provides a much more specific way to target when the second portion of the book comes forth!

Second, we learn that in fact, the people of our generation will be tested the exact same way the people of the 2^nd watch were tested! We don't get to see the book or even view the characters within the sealed book. We only get to read the translated portion of the words in the book.

Words will be published to the world to the condemnation of some and the salvation of others!

They may come forth from someone who is not considered to be a credible source. It may from a "nobody" who does not hold a high position in life and has not accumulated wealth or been successful according to the world or it may even be a historical figure from the past that is despised by Mormons and non-Mormons alike, perhaps it will be some one whose reputation has been marred that is called upon to be a forerunner to prepare the way for the Seer..

We will have the opportunity to read and discern if the published words are true or not.

The coming forth of records plays a huge part in the Marvelous Work and in the great test that is coming.

Ancient prophecy speaks of a time when God's work will be published to the world-

"Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God". Deut. 32: 3

5 Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

Geoffrey Robertson, a renowned human rights lawyer and United Nations jurist, wants to see Pope Benedict put on trial for allegedly protecting predator priests.

In a Guardian UK piece making its rounds this week in Catholic circles, Robertson demanded the pope be “put in the dock” so that the church might “feel the full weight of international law” over its thousands of pedophilia scandals.

The pope’s conduct, he said, “amounted to the criminal offence of aiding and abetting sex with minors,” making Benedict a justifiable target for either the International Criminal Court or a British court acting under the legal principal of universal jurisdiction.

Other international figures who’ve recently been pursued by various courts under universal jurisdiction include several former Bush administration attorneys and former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld for the torture of terror war prisoners, along with Israeli officials who helped launch the 2008 Gaza offensive.

“Universal jurisdiction — a concept in international law — allows judges to issue warrants for nearly any visitor accused of grievous crimes, no matter where they live,” the Associated Press reported. “British judges have been more open to the concept than those in other countries.”

“In legal actions against Catholic archdioceses in the US it has been alleged that the same conduct reflected Vatican policy as approved by Cardinal Ratzinger (as the pope then was) as late as November 2002,” Robertson wrote. “Sexual assaults were regarded as sins that were subject to church tribunals, and guilty priests were sent on a ‘pious pilgrimage’ while oaths of confidentiality were extracted from their victims.”

He continued: “The UN at its inception refused membership to the Vatican but has allowed it a unique ‘observer status’, permitting it to become signatory to treaties such as the Law of the Sea and (ironically) the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and to speak and vote at UN conferences where it promotes its controversial dogmas on abortion, contraception and homosexuality. This has involved the UN in blatant discrimination on grounds of religion: other faiths are unofficially represented, if at all, by NGOs. But it has encouraged the Vatican to claim statehood – and immunity from liability.”

WARSAW, March 29, 2010 (AFP) – Poland’s economy is stable and no longer needs its 21.8-billion dollar (16.2-billion euro) credit line from the International Monetary Fund, the Polish central bank said on Monday.

“The situation with the Polish economy and the financial system is sufficiently good … that it is not necessary to ask the IMF for a further extension of the flexible credit line,” the bank said in a statement.

The central bank said it could instead provide the IMF with a loan to “help other countries overcome the effects of the global crisis.”

The finance ministry, however, insisted it still wanted to have a reserve at hand if the economy ran into fresh headwinds.

80 gunmen terrorize Mexican town

MEXICO CITY – Police say at least 80 gunmen terrorized a town in northern Mexico for several hours and killed four people.

Sonora state attorney general Abel Murrieta says the assailants arrived in the town of Maycoba in at least 15 pickup trucks, opened fire on the state police headquarters and set it ablaze.

Murrieta said Friday the assailants terrorized the town for at least five hours Thursday afternoon. He said the gunmen are members of organized crime but gave no other details.

In the central state of Morelos, police found the bodies of two men hanging from a bridge in the city of Cuernavaca.

Cuernavaca police say in a statement the bodies were found Friday along with a message that claims federal authorities are protecting an alleged drug kingpin.

Joseph's Tomb DANGER KEEP OUT!

In Amos there is an interesting prophecy about the day when God will raise up the tabernacle of David which has fallen… as well as his ruins-

"In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the Lord that doeth this." Amos 9:11

In Acts 15 Paul paraphrases the above prophecy.

After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

Is God referring to ancient King David and the tabernacle that his son Solomon built that is fallen or is he referring to the latter day Davidic King and to his tabernacle that has since fallen and been replaced by someone else?

Recently, whilst lurking around the ancient city of David
Joseph, I heard a rumor that Joseph had created a tomb that he had expressly requested his friends and family to bury him in when he died. It was to be used to bury his family in as well.

Although this sepulcher is briefly mentioned in several historical documents, the knowledge of it has become obscured by time.

A few years prior to his tragic death, "the Prophet built a limestone burial vault on the south side of the temple block and called it the "tomb of Joseph.

The first reference to the tomb in the Personal Writings of Joseph Smith appears on 23 August 1842, in reference to Joseph Smith Sr.

The Prophet said of his deceased father, "Sacred to me is his dust and the spot where he is laid. Sacred to me is the tomb I have made to encircle o'er his head. Let the memory of my father eternally live."

I plan on doing a more in-depth post on this at a later time pertaining to the importance of burial tombs used by Abraham Moses, Jacob, Joseph, David and others of our ancient patriarchal fathers and kings, but for now, just in case anyone is interested, I thought I would show you what I found.

When the current Nauvoo temple foundation was being built, a large underground rock vault was discovered and some speculated that it may have been the sepulcher created by and spoken of by Joseph Smith Jr., however, another theory which has been quietly championed by a professor at BYU is a tomb that was made out of the basement of an old house that was used for a time as a winery.

When I heard that this second place had been discovered but was being kept secret from the masses, I just had to see it for myself.

Again, I plan on doing a more detailed post on the specifics of Josephs mock burial, the various places he is supposed to have been buried, Brighams attempt to get Emma to remove his body to the sepulcher that Joseph had prepared for his own burial, where he wanted to be buried with his kindred dead and how all of this relates to the burial of King David, and the return of the Joseph Smith, etc.

But for now, I am providing a few pics and directions on how to visit this mystical location which is hidden in the middle of Nauvoo.

Directions

First of all, go to the street just west of the Nauvoo Temple which is called Wells street.

Then go south a few blocks until you come to a white United Methodist church at the corner of Wells and Ripley.

Looking north from the the corner of Wells and Ripley you will see the temple

As you look south, you will see the Methodist church.

To get to the sacred grove where the tomb of Joseph is located walk south past the church into the backyard of the church then look to your right down into the valley containing the historic section of Nauvoo. You will be gazing over a large lawn that sits to the southwest of the backyard of the church.

As you walk west down into the big lawn area and look to the Northeast you will see a big white house that sits west of the church.

Between the house and the church you can see the angel Moroni

As you look to your south, you will see a grove of trees next to the lawn that has been kept in its natural state.

Within the little forest or grove, you will see a fenced off area.

As you walk around to the south side of the fenced in area you can see the opening of the tomb behind the locked fence gate.

The prophet Malachi is standing in front of the sepulcher to the left while the Watcher and his better half are standing to the right.

The hand in front of Mrs Watchers face is apparently symbolic of how they plan of becoming composite beings in the next life. (as also depicted in the temple ceremony when the female initiate puts the veil over her face)

We live in amazing times!

It appears that there are numerous patriot groups and state militias that are pretty fed up with the Fed. For numerous reasons not the least of which is the National HeathCare legistation.

President Obama recently admitted on national media that he pushed it through to avoid the bankruptcy of this nation.

In addition to the recent raid on a Christian Militia Group by the government, the Nesara people keep making wild claims about bringing their agenda to fruition.

Additionally, the Restore America group has sent their packets to the Governors of each state creating such a scare in Nevada that they had a "lock down" at the state capital and the FBI have agents watch things very closely in each state.

On one of the conference calls I listened in on via audio on a chat board they claim the supreme court and the military are backing their efforts. If that is the case, their agenda cannot be trusted! I was shocked to hear them say that although America will be restored in all of its sovereignty and we will all become sovereign citizens again, National ID cards will be issued. What a joke! Sovereign citizens don't need to carry ID cards.

There are many individuals and organized groups that are becoming extremely angry with the government.

All of this reminds me of the unpublished prophecy about how angry men will rise up and destroy the government and the published revelation about those slaves who would marshal themselves against the powers that be.

About a week ago Obama signed an executive order that, among other things will limit how much cash can be taken out of banking accounts. I also prevents the wealthy from transferring their wealth to foreign countries. I understand Argentina passed a similar law just before their currency meltdown…

Of course the wealthy insiders transferred their wealth to other countries long ago.

It appears that the Fed is having an unscheduled emergency meeting today, on April 5^th

The Unitarian heretic, Edward Wightman who claimed to be the Prophet Elijah was burnt in 1612 - he was the last person to suffer this punishment for heresy in England.

During that year, a volcanic eruption took place near the Eyjafjallajökull glacier in Iceland.

That volcano would then remain dormant until it began erupting in 1821 and had a climactical eruption in 1823, the year associated with the first appearance of the Angel Moroni that took place in September of 1823, shortly after the first vision...

Following that eruption in 1823, the volcano would again remain dormant until NOW.

"A volcanic eruption has just begun under the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. This has been verified by local authorities in neighboring Hvolsvöllur. Vísir reports that farms in the Fljótshlíð area and by Markarhlíð are already being evacuated. Locals in the area have confirmed that they are viewing flames and a steady stream of lava from the glacier.

Eyjafjallajökull is an active central volcano. There is reportedly no recorded history of catastrophic eruptions in the area. The volcano last erupted 189 years ago and apparently caused a lot of ash fall in the area."

Could this volcanic eruption be a significant sign? It's location in Iceland kind of reminds me of the scriptures about ice flowing down…

Reinstating the Daily Sacrifice

The following blurb was taken from a website speaking about the potentially historic renewing of the daily sacrifice in the Old World Jerusalem-

They are requesting that every Jew in the world who wants to take part in this sacrificial Passover observance send seven shekels per person in order to buy enough lambs for every person to be able to partake of the meat of their Passover lamb as expressly commanded in Exodus 12."

As you all know, I don't believe the gathering of the Ashkenazi Jews in the Old World in 1967 represented the latter day gathering of the Jews that is mentioned in the Book of Mormon and other scriptures HOWEVER I do think that the smokescreen does have some time line merit.

For instance, back when they began gathering in 1967 some people speculated that the last generation spoken of in Matthew 24 had begun and that everything would be wrapped up by 2007, a 40 year, biblical generation later.

Well, obviously, 1967 did not represent the beginning of the last generation and thing were not wrapped up by 2007, HOWEVER, it is interesting to me that 2007 did fall on the ending of the 400 year prophecy contained in Gen 15.

Therefore, I am hopeful that if the Ashkenazi Jews do reinstate their animal sacrifices this Passover, on April 6^th, that it could in fact coincide with a significant prophetic date.

One could even speculate that such a sacred sacrifice by those Jews who are not Jews, might be considered an abomination in the sight of God. One could could be associated with desolation...

Elijah the Prophet

Another interesting blurb from a website is as follows,

"The Jewish tradition of Elijah appearing at Passover:

Malachi 4:4-6 states that God will send Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the Lord. He will restore the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, so that God will not come and smite the land with a curse.

For hundreds of years the Jew have been celebrating the Passover Seder with the belief that ElIjah would return at that time to introduce them to the Messiah before God pours out His wrath on the nations, the 7 years of Jacob's trouble. The Jewish families leave an empty chair and a cup of wine for Elijah at the Passover meal each year and send a child to open the door in case he shows up.

If this tradition is prophetic of Elijah arriving at Passover, it provides further evidence to the calculation above with the Tribulation starting at Passover."

All of this brings me to this-

My good friend Malachi has written a book about the events of the last days and in it he claims that Elijah (the restorer) will either return, or make himself known (if he has already returned) on April 6^th 2010!

He guarantees me this event will take place. LOL

Mrs and Mrs Malachi have invited me and Mrs Watcher to make a pilgrimage with them to one of the LDS church historical sites where we will watch in anticipation for the events unfold.

Those of you who are fellow watchers who would like to unite in prayer, in a spirit of watching and waiting are invited to light a candle and join with us in prayer between 9-12 midnight on the evening of the 6th.

The Breach is Ready to Fall Suddenly, In an Instant

It has been a while since I have posted on this blog so I thought I would give a summary of what I have been thinking and doing, as well as a few current events that have been taking place…

For years I have pondered how I might get the "third watch" message and other pertinent doctrines and prophecies out to a broader audience and do it in a way where readers could extract whatever depth of knowledge and understanding from it as they may be able to comprehend.

One day it occurred to me that perhaps a fiction mystery thriller along the lines of Dan Brown's Di Vinci Code, might be the perfect platform. One that would allow me to provide differing depths of doctrinal and prophetic information without the reader feeling any obligation of taking it seriously, if they don't have a potentiality of understanding what is being conveyed.

With that thought in mind, I have nearly completed the book.

Those of you that are familiar with my writings are well aware of the fact that I cannot spell, punctuate or keep many of my sentences shorter than a long paragraph. LOL

For that reason I am currently receiving bids from skilled editors to clean up my writing and make it somewhat presentable and I think I have identified a few that will be able to rise to the occasion. I have found them through an online service that I have used over the years. There is also a reader of this blog who has generously offered to review it and work it over before it goes to the professional editor.

If in fact I go through with this, I hope to self publish it and have it available to order online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.

I may also sell it as an e-book.

Yes, I know my audience is probably limited, however, I have had very positive feedback from non Mormons who claim they would enjoy a mystery thriller having to do with the topics of prophecy, national security, secret societies and symbology, and the role that Mormons play in the religious history of this nation, etc.

Which brings me to the next topic.

I have a patent pending on a technology that pertains to a new social networking service that I hope to be launching within 90 days.

It is an innovative way of helping messages to go viral and to reach a tipping point.

Some of the concepts that I have incorporated into this solution are explained in Malcolm Gladwells bests selling book, "The Tipping Point".

Remember when "blogging" was a totally new concept and nobody had ever heard of it?

Well, someday people will not just be "posting a blog" they will be "sending a blip".

People will be "blipping" as well as "blogging".

In fact, their blips will drive viewers to their blogs.

It can be used to send electronic blips to targeted prospects that would be interested a specific topic, via friend to friend, word of mouth advertising.

Anyway, I plan to use this solution to promote the book, if I end up publishing it.

If this new solution becomes as successful as I think it will, those that are on the ground floor of the affiliate program could potentially make a boatload of mula.

Of course, I am hoping that Babylon bites the big one and the Servants return before this crazy idea ever has a chance to take off, but hey, we need to keep busy while were waiting right?

Now then, for the scripture that I want to highlight today, it is found in Isaiah.

"Because ye despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon: therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall. Whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant." Isa. 30: 13

Websters dictionary provides the following definition of the word suddenly

SUD'DENLY, adv. In an unexpected manner; unexpectedly; hastily; without preparation.

I have previously blogged about the various scriptures that use the word suddenly but I don't think I have addressed the above verse in Isaiah ...

Now lets read more verses associated with it to get a broader context,

"Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord:
Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.
Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters' vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit." Isa 30 8-14

I find that analogy interesting.

A breach which is ready to fall.

Swelling out in a high wall,

whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

Of course I believe the people who have despised the word of the Lord and the law of the Lord and who have and trusted in oppression and perverseness are Gods people who rejected the fulness of the Gospel in the 2^nd watch.

And the breach is now swelling up and getting ready to fall!

Do you feel the swelling that is quietly taking place right now?

Are there signs around us that might indicate that the swelling is taking place and that the breaking is getting ready to take place suddenly?

I believe the prophecy in Isaiah 30 is what inspired Paul to make the following prophecy,

"But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober." 1^st thes 5:1-5

The amazing prophesy of Paul's actually tells us how the Day of the Lord will be ushered in.

I think it will be during a general time when our national leaders have repeatedly used the phrase "peace and safety"… Sometimes to scare us into submission and other times to lull us into complacency.

So what are some of the potential events that might indicate that the breach is swelling and getting ready to break?

Sorsha Fall has a great article entitled "Parliament of Owls Gives Final Warning to America" that deals with this topic. As usual, she provides no references or validation to her claim about the owls gathering to the Cahokia Pyramid which was put in place by the mound builders. This is unfortunate. I suspect she made up the thing about the owls gathering. Nevertheless, it provides amazing imagery and the concept may be substantiated in the word of God.

The article speaks about the symbolism of the owl.

Did you know that there is an owl hidden on the dollar bill?

As I have mentioned before, I live in the middle of nowhere in a ghost town. It is a desolate place that has become beautiful to me.

One of the creatures that we have a lot of out here is the Owl.

I have never really paid all that much attention to the owl, nor have I really ever studied about it.

Recently however I have begun to pay more attention to it.

In Jeremiah 50 we can read about the fall of Babylon and in the midst of the storyline we are told that when the land becomes desolate the wild beasts and the owls shall dwell therein.

The owls seem to gather at about the time that the latter day Sodom and Gomorrah is overthrown by the people that come from the North to chastise Gods apostate nation.

Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.

40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, saith the Lord; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

41 Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.

42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.

43 The king of Babylon hath heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.

44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?

45 Therefore hear ye the counsel of the Lord, that he hath taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.

46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.

Isaiah 34 also speaks about the day of vengeance and also suggests that the owls will inhabit the

8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.

10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.

11 ¶ But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.

12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.

13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.

14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow;, and the screech owl also shall rest there find for herself a place of rest.

15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

One of the odd things in the above passages is how the phrase "court of owls" is used.

The strongs definition for "court" (2681) is a dwelling, an abode, settled abode, haunt.

Now I suppose that one possible definition of this is that at the time of the fall of Babylon the Lords servants will create an abode or place of rest to which they will gather the elect.

One of the things I love about the word of God is how there are often multiple meanings to his prophetic words.

Anyway, I find it interesting that within recent months, a large number of law enforcement leaders have mysteriously resigned without giving much reason. Additionally, I read a report indicating that many high ranking financial leaders, ie, CEO's etc. have also resigned their positions.

One almost gets the feeling that they don't want to be at the helm when the crap hits the fan.

Is the breach swelling and getting ready to fall?

I don't know.

I guess we need to just keep watching.

“.. he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him…"

.. there have been numerous world events that have happened that are very significant since I last posted… but I have not posted on most of them. I have decided to stop posting frequent updates pertaining to world events since they generally focus on the negative aspects of what is going on.

While it is important that we pay attention and watch, I don’t want to focus so much on those things that we lose perspective on the positive things we are anticipating.

BTW I have now included a search feature on both of my blogs making it easier to find quotes from past articles, etc.

Perhaps one of the most important evidences that the marvelous work and a wonder begins in the 3^rd watch, at a much later time than the LDS restoration movement of the 1830-40’s, is the fact that the scriptures make it abundantly clear that the Marvelous Work takes place at the approximate time that Babylon falls. (Whenever I use the term “LDS Restoration Movement” I do so for the benefit of those who have not graduated from the 3^rd watch boot camp, I really mean “LDS Foundation Movement”)

As I have pointed out in previous posts, Babylon did not fall at the time of the restoration of the church.

It would have, if the Saints had been faithful in redeeming Zion (see 103: 5-8), but since the enemy that was combined, overcame the church, the kingdoms of the world overcame the Saints instead of the Kingdom of God crushing the kingdoms of the world back at that time. .. Hence, Babylon prospered and grew into the monstrosity that it became.

If you do a key word search to review what the scriptures say about the fall of Babylon you can end up chasing you tail for a while trying to understand the apparent discrepancies in the conflicting chronology of the event until you realize that Babylon falls TWICE!

How is it possible that Babylon falls twice?

The secret is cryptically revealed by John the Revelator who observes that when the first Babylon “Beast kingdom” appears to be wounded to death, the dragon gives his power to the second “Beast Kingdom” to reign for a short period. Once the second Beast Kingdom is fully established, it issues the mark of the beast and eventually causes everyone to worship the first Beast Kingdom.

“.. he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him… and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.” Rev 13

We are in that transition period right now. The Dragon has handed (or is in the process of handing) the power he had previously given to Babylon over to the Beast Kingdom which is now rising. The Beast Kingdom is positioning itself and getting ready to implement the mark.

The first Babylon Beast Kingdom was composed of many nations and their independent governments and they have not all been in harmony despite the dark manipulations of the secret societies in the background. The 2nd Beast Kingdom that rises forms a unified world government. (out of chaos come order)

The first fall of Babylon in the end times began approximately at the tail end of the real year 2007, which brought us to the fulfillment of the 400 years that Abraham spoke of in Gen. 15.

The real year 2008 marked the official beginning of the transfer of power, just seven years since the typological fall of Babylon was manifested in the fall of the twin towers.

2007-8 is when the financial implosion of this great nation and the subsequent domino effect is having on the rest of the world began in earnest.

The transfer of power to the second beast kingdom and to him, who has no legal right to reign in this part of the vineyard, is no coincidence. He represents the rising up of the 2nd Beast.

He will remain as the “President Elect” for as long as he is in office because he is an impostor who has been put in place by the God of Israel for the purpose of bringing judgment upon this nation. He is the one chosen to play an important role in completing the partial enslavement that has been in place during the last 400 years, into total spiritual and temporal enslavement.

Indeed, the Marvelous Work is about the emerging of TWO separate kingdoms. Depending on which kingdom you support, which God you worship, the result will be either freedom and life eternal, or temporal and spiritual captivity of the Devil,

“For the time cometh, saith the Lamb of God, that I will work a great and a marvelous work among the children of men; a work which shall be everlasting, either on the one hand or on the other—either to the convincing of them unto peace and life eternal, or unto the deliverance of them to the hardness of their hearts and the blindness of their minds unto their being brought down into captivity, and also into destruction, both temporally and spiritually, according to the captivity of the devil, of which I have spoken.” (1 Ne 14: 7)

It has now been over a year since I began posting about the President Elect prophecy and I must tell you, I am more excited about it now than ever before. I am more convinced now than ever before that the prophecy in 124 is referring to the current President Elect.

Praise God for his infinite foreknowledge as contained in prophecy, even if it takes me a while to understand it as it unfolds!

In theory, if Obama were to win a second election, he would continue on as the President Elect, not as the legal President. Because of that, it is possible in theory that things could drag on beyond 2012 before the proclamation goes forth to the kings of the earth, however, I am still putting my money on the proclamation going forth BEFORE the next election.

It is truly a wonder that the masses don’t see the significance of what is currently happening around us.

Even many of the constitutionalists and patriaots that are more enlightened politically seem confused and blinded about just how far we are into the prophetic events of the last days.

I was listening to an interview with Tony Larson about one of his latest posts and the interviewer made the following statement,

“our republic is beginning to become a democracy!”

I was shocked at that statement.

I would submit to you that our republic became a democracy many decades ago and it has been evolving into a dictatorship for some time. If the dictatorship is not complete at this time, it will be complete once the mark is issued.

On a somewhat related topic, Jesse Ventura did an interesting piece about the chambers or “dens” that are being built by the elite in preparation for the solar flare that are predicted to hit the earth by the year 2012.

I’ve never had much of an affinity for Ventura. I suppose this is because I despise professional wrestling. (the fake kind) and of course, I hate the politics of Babylon. That is two strikes against him, as far as my ability to resonate with the guy. Furthermore, his new series called “conspiracy theory” is so predictable and obviously staged when he and his “team” decide to go out and investigate something.

Nevertheless, the story line in the following show brings up a fascinating new way to interpret the following passages,

“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb” (Rev 6:15-16)

I have previously always supposed that the kings and leaders of nations and wealthy elite simply try to hide in natural caves at the last minute when they noticed the wrath of God, however, the following two stories that I am posting indicate that possibly the “dens” spoken of by John, might be man made dens, some created initially for the purpose of housing the elite from war, terrorism, anarchy, solar flares and other natural disasters, while other dens are created for the purpose of housing dissenters and the riff-raff of low birth.

President Elect?

It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything on this particular blog site which shows that I am making progress in overcoming my blogging addition.

I never really thought many people would find their way to this site.. the main purpose of creating this blog was to document the doctrine of the three watches online BEFORE the first laborers of the last kingdom returned.

I wanted to provide at least one verifiable, scripturally documented testimony that people could read AFTER the Servants return that had been posted BEFORE they returned… one that could be verifiably dated prior to the return.

Nevertheless, several interesting, articulate and colorful people have found this site and have provided interesting comments and observations and I thank those of you who have contributed.

It is my hope and desire to never post again on this blog until after I have strong reason to believe the Servants have returned.

If the internet is still functioning at that time I may provide some additional posts about my observations about their return and how things are progressing.

I do however want to share a few observations at this time.

95% of the last two segments of the Morley Farm series had been done for a long time but I simply become distracted from finishing and posting them for some strange reason.

I was prompted to do so the other day when someone sent me the copy of a post someone had done weeks ago about the laws pertaining to the gospel.

I guess my friend assumed I had not seen the post that he sent me.

I had been aware of it but the supposition was so completely without scriptural merit and common sense that I didn't want to dignify it with a comment at the time.

When the person sent it to me, a few days ago, it reminded me that I have been sitting on the last two Morley Farm posts for a long time and that the last one addresses the three eternal laws of the universe so I felt prompted to review the two last parts of the series, add a few items and post them.

I feel great closure in wrapping up the Morley Farm series.

It has been a blessing in my life. It has answered several questions I have had about the gospel, the oath and covenant of the Father, the three priesthoods and many other things.

I praise the Lord God for blessing me with an increased awareness of what happened at the Morley Farm pertaining to the restoration of the Melchizedek Priesthood.

I have grown to love and appreciate Lyman Wight.

By the way, I have since noticed two more interesting things about Lyman Wight that I had not previously included in any posts.

One has to do with his relationship with the Indians.

I found the following in a book I discovered online

"Wight and his lumber company [in Wisconsin] were developing close ties with the local Minominee. Many members of the tribe expressed sympathy toward Wight and his company because of the persecution the mormons had suffered at the hands of the white man. They wept openly upon hearing about the persecution suffered by the Mormons in Ohio and Missouri and felt a kinship that only fellow victims could understand. The chiefs of the tribe even planned a council to discuss the mass conversion of the tribe to the Mormon faith. Wight planned to remove his colony of approximately 150 mormons from the mills near Indian Lands and resettle in Texas. Whether he intended to bring the Menominee tribe with him is unknown. It was certainly an option he considered. Unlike Ohio, Missouri, or Illinois, in this new land there would be no power to interfere with their fraternization with the native Americans."

I thought that was AWESOME! I have no idea Wight had developed such a close relationship with a tribe of Indians and that they had considered doing a mass conversion to Mormonism.

I have often wondered why the Saints had not had more success among the Indians.

I find the following statement from Brigham Young's diary very intriguing,

"Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday April 6,7,8 and 9 (1844) I attended a special Conference in Nauvoo, the stand was occupied by the Presidency, the Twelve and others, among whom were eleven Lamanite chiefs and braves it was estimated there were about 20,000 persons present, the conference was addressed by Presidents Joseph, Hyrum and Sidney, myself and Elders H. C. Kimball, John Taylor, and A. Lyman. The prophet declared that all North and South America was the land of Zion. At the close of the conference 344 Elders volunteered to go on missions."

I am pretty sure that the History of the Church contains a blurb about the presence of 11 or 12 indian chiefs and braves sitting on the stand at one of the largest general conferences ever held in Nauvoo.

What is with that?

Why were they there?

Did something happen with the Lamanite nations that we have never been told?

Was there an interbreeding agreement that took place to make the Lamanites a white and delightsome people as per the unpublished Lamanite revelation that I have mentioned in previous posts?

The other thing I wanted to share about Lyman Wight is what the Lord says about him in section 124. It is as follows

Lyman Wight- "…it is my will that Lyman Wight should continue in preaching for Zion, in the spirit of meekness, confessing me before the world and I will bear him up as on eagles wings and he shall beget glory and honor to himself and unto my name that when he shall finish his work I may receive him unto myself, even as I did my servant David Patten, who is with me at this time, and also my servant Edward Partidge, and also my aged servant Joseph Smith Sen., who sitteth with Abraham at his right hand, and blessed and holy is he, for he is mine.

Wow!

How would you like to have the Lord fortell that you will beget glory and honor once your work is finished!

How would you like to have the Lord state in a published revelation that you are blessed and holy and that you belong to him!

Would that be an incredible confirmation of what has been in your heart?

Would it not be an incredible confirmation that your offering will ultimately be acceptable to him?

About 15 years ago when I was trying to better understand the various players in the history of the church and who took a stand in the succession controversy I realized that section 124 mentions a very large number of the leading brethren of the church.

I also noticed that God was actually using section 124, not only to warn the Saints about the loss of the fulness of the priesthood and give them an ultimatum about the completion of the temple and to prophesy about the President Elect, and to give assignments to various elders, but to also publicly share his feelings and his discernment about the character of many of the leading brethren.

I noticed that in some cases the Lord made very positive, unconditional declarations about the character of some of the elders and the eternal rewards they would receive... yet, at the same time he made conditional promises and warnings and observations about others.

I realized that among other things, section 124 was somewhat of a group "patriarchal blessing" that was exposing the lives and character of several leading individuals.

I actually took the time to create a list of what the Lord said about each of these particular people…

I created a listing of those the Lord was pleased with as well as a listing of those that seemed to be given conditional promises and admonitions and warnings
.

It became apparent to me that some of these brethren had already proven themselves to the Lord while others were still being weighed in the balance.

Of course, as I have stated before, I firmly believe that God has all time, past present and future before him, and he has infinite foreknowledge.. therefore, the remarks and prophesies he made about many of these brethren were all the more significant to me.

The fact that he made this information known in a published revelation indicated to me that he wanted those of us that are watching to pay close attention to how he felt about various individuals.

Lyman Wight was not the only one that had proven himself to the Lord by 1841.

Notice what the Lord says about Robert Thompson

Robert B. Thompson- "let my servant Robert B Thompson help you write this proclamation, for I am well pleased with him…"

Up until section 124 there are very few revelations in the D&C where the Lord tells someone he is pleased with them. It is more common, as I recall, when the Lord tells someone he is not very pleased with them.

Imagine how you would feel if you were Robert Thompson!

Now look at what the Lord has to say about George Miller

George Miller "George Miller is without guile; he may be trusted because of the integrity of his heart; and for the love which he has to my testimony I, the Lord Love him… let know man despise my servant George Miller, for he shall honor me"

Now that is a pretty good character reference when the Lord God of Israel states that you can be trusted because of the integrity of your heart!

George Miller did honor the Lord to the best of his ability during those trying times.

I believe George Miller is going to honor the Lord in the 3^rd watch as well!

Any way, as I was saying, I created a chart with three columns. One column listed those that God was categorically happy with and said nice things about and prophecied positive things about. The next column listed those that were obviously questionable in the eyes of the Lord… the third column listed those that were simply given assignments with no commentary on there character or how they had performed.

I then analyzed those in the various columns to see which ones initially sustained Brigham Young and embraced polygamy and went to Utah vs those who didn't.

I was shocked and dumbfounded at the results.

I was shocked to see what the Lord said about some who are now considered to be the greatest apostates of LDS church history.

I believe some of them are going to return in the service of the Lord.

I was shocked to see what the Lord said and didn't say about some who … well... anyway, it was an interesting exercise that forced me to better appreciate that Gods ways are not our ways and that God is a better judge of character than the sanitized history of the Church.

But that is a topic for another time.

I now want to share a few observations about the President Elect Prophecy contained in section 124.

I went way out on a limb last year stating that I felt the President Elect Prophecy had to do with Obama and the elections held last year.

As the time of the inauguration came and went without anything significant happening I was greatly disappointed and yet I still could not let go of my feelings about it.

It simply did and does not feel right that the prophecy pertains to the next election… in fact I am not convinced there will be another election.

So.. anyway, the other day I was watching the following video because I find Dr. Manning to be immensely humorous and entertaining and very much inspired on some issues.

Anyway, as you know, there have been multiple lawsuits filed challenging the legitimacy of the Obama Presidency based on the fact that he was not born in America.

While I was out jogging the other day the thought hit me like a ton of bricks,

"The constitution prevents Obama from being the legal President of the United States because he was not born in America.. therefore our nation is being led by the President Elect!"

I ran home to check some definitions again-

According to Wikipedia "A president-elect is a political candidate who has been elected
president but who has not yet been [legally] sworn in, or [legally] officially taken office…"

According to Wikipedia "the President-elect of the United States is the title used for an incoming President of the United States in the liminal period between the general election on Election Day in November and noon eastern standard time on Inauguration Day, January 20, during which he is not in office yet. The title is used for the apparent winner…"

It seems to me that Obama was the apparent winner of the election according the vote of the people and is therefore the legal President Elect.

He is not however the legal president.

Hence, we have an unusual political anomaly wherein our presiding leader is still the President elect!

That, my friends puts an even greater significance on the wording used in the prophecy in section 124!

It also means that the prophecy can be fulfilled anytime between now and the next election.

BTW

According to the 1828 Websters, the very first definition of "honorable" means, "Holding a distinguished rank in society; illustrious or noble."

I find it fascinating that the term does not necessarily mean the person is an honorable person in the moral sense of the word, but rather it can simply have reference to the rank or political position a person has, such as that of a Senator or a President Elect.

I am going to suggest that even though the constitution prohibits Obama from legally serving as the president of the United States, he is, nevertheless, the legal and lawful President Elect!

Normally the title President Elect is dropped once the inauguration takes place however we have a very unusual situation where the swearing in did not legally take place and the legal assumption of the office was precluded by the constitution.

What we have is an anomaly wherein the previous legally elected president has left office and the President elect is officiating in that office of President, not as the legal President of the United States but rather as the President Elect even though he is not the legal President!

This unusual turn of events makes it possible for Obama to continue being the President Elect after the appointed date of inauguration AND until the issue is resolved in the courts or a revolution or some other event displaces him, it enables him to exercise the authority normally given to the legal President of the United States.

So.. as far as I am concerned, the prophecy contained in section 124 can and probably will still be fulfilled sometime between now and 2012.

Of course, I would be tickled to death if it were to take place before April 6th but we'll just have to wait and see...

Please notice the following passages very closely in 2nd Nephi 10,

" 7 But behold, thus saith the ^aLord God: ^bWhen the day cometh that they shall believe in me, that I am Christ, then have I covenanted with their fathers that they shall be ^crestored in the flesh, upon the earth, unto the ^dlands of their inheritance.

8 And it shall come to pass that they shall be ^agathered in from their long dispersion, from the ^bisles of the sea, and from the four parts of the earth; and the nations of the Gentiles shall be great in the eyes of me, saith God, in ^ccarrying them forth to the lands of their inheritance.

9 ^aYea, the kings of the Gentiles shall be nursing fathers unto them, and their queens shall become nursing mothers; wherefore, the ^bpromises of the Lord are great unto the Gentiles, for he hath spoken it, and who can dispute?

10 But behold, this land, said God, shall be a land of thine inheritance, and the ^aGentiles shall be blessed upon the land.

11 And this land shall be a land of ^aliberty unto the Gentiles, and there shall be no ^bkings upon the land, who shall raise up unto the Gentiles.

12 And I will fortify this land ^aagainst all other nations.

13 And he that ^afighteth against Zion shall ^bperish, saith God.

Remember back in the days before your understood the doctrine of the third watch, how above passages and other scriptures seemed to imply that America was a nation of freedom and liberty when the gentiles first came over here? or at least when our founding fathers (many of whom were up to their eyeballs in the occult and secret societies) broke away from mother England.

Amazing how the true context pops out once you begin to comprehend the third watch.

The above passages are testifying that this land SHALL be a land of liberty and will be fortified against all other nations AFTER God's people are restored to their lands of inheritance and AFTER the prophecy in section 124 is fulfilled pertaining to the kings of the earth and AFTER Zion is established.

It is after all that, that the Gentiles will be BLESSED and receive true LIBERTY in this the promised land.

This is why the prophecy in Gen 15 assures us that the tribes of Israel will be oppressed for 400 years in this land before judgment takes place and God's people are delivered.

But if the above is true.. why did it seem as if we were a free people at one time and who is the mysterios, sinister force that has really been pulling the strings in the back ground.

Who is this Mystery Babylon that lurks in the smoky background.

The following article provides some interesting information. It may have a few errors in it, but the general concept is very revealing.

That secret combination that has infiltrated every organization and industry, that has been lurking in the background, in various forms can be identified if we pay close attention.

These insidious children of hell have been manipulating everything... they control the fed and our fiat money system, they manipulate governments, they destroy faith in God through modern science, they are involved in every major organized religion, etc.

Lastly, they control us through the "RULE OF LAW".

"Because the United States could not honor its war debt to England, the government went into bankruptcy on January 1, 1788. To make the war debt legally binding on the people of the United States, the following steps were taken. On August 4, 1790 legislation was passed by the Congress titled, “An Act making provision for the payment of the Debt of the United States”. This Act abolished the States and created Districts, with each District assigned a portion of the debt. State governments were then reorganized in 1790 with new constitutions and each submitted to the people for their vote. By accepting this, the people became citizens of the STATE Corporation and thereby citizens of the UNITED STATES, Inc. There were now no states, only corporations!

The United States Bank was created in 1791. This private bank issued 25,000 shares of which 18,000 were held by England. The U. S. Bank made loans to the United States in exchange for U. S. securities. To pay the interest on these loans under the advice of Alexander Hamilton, an alcohol tax was levied. The Whiskey Rebellion caused George Washington to use the militia to forcefully collect the alcohol tax. He could do this because the people had been turned into slaves to a corporation and were required to pay any and all of the corporate debt.

Let us move forward to the events one hundred years later. The Civil War was over, Abraham Lincoln had been assassinated, the slaves were now free and the international bankers had accomplished their goal of control over the U. S. by saddling UNITED STATES, Inc. with huge amounts of war debt. On February 21, 1871 the Forty-First Congress passed legislation entitled “An Act To Provide A Government for the District of Columbia” (Act of 1871). By this action and with no constitutional authority, a separate form of government and constitution was created for the ten square miles of land known as The District of Columbia (or Washington, D.C., Inc.)

The original U.S. Constitution was entitled, “The Constitution for the united states of America”. The Act of 1871 changed that title to read, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. By changing the title and the capitalization of the Constitution the people were removed from this “new” Constitution. This “new” Constitution serves only for the corporation of THE UNITED STATES and not for the people of America. The people now have no rights or freedoms, no ownership of property, no right to travel, no right to marry, no right to do business---they are only debt slaves who must serve the CORPORATION! Slaves have no rights, only privileges and permission to live on their master’s property. Should they try in any way to use the Corporate Constitution, they will be charged with criminal trespass because they are not a party to this private contract entitled, THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Do you now understand why you are charged fees to travel, to marry, to do business, or visit corporate parks? Do you understand why you must pay income tax, bank interest, and lose all your collateral in foreclosure? Do you understand why you lose in court, why your family has no privacy or security, and why the “feds” are all over the fifty states?

The Minnesota Free Market Institute hosted an event at Bethel University in St. Paul on Wednesday evening. Keynote speaker Lord Christopher Monckton, former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, gave a scathing and lengthy presentation, complete with detailed charts, graphs, facts, and figures which culminated in the utter decimation of both the pop culture concept of global warming and the credible threat of any significant anthropomorphic climate change.

A detailed summary of Monckton’s presentation will be available here once compiled. However, a segment of his remarks justify immediate publication. If credible, the concern Monckton speaks to may well prove the single most important issue facing the American nation, bigger than health care, bigger than cap and trade, and worth every citizen’s focused attention.

Here were Monckton’s closing remarks, as dictated from my audio recording:

At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen, this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed. Your president will sign it. Most of the third world countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regime from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it.

I read that treaty. And what it says is this, that a world government is going to be created. The word “government” actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to third world countries, in satisfication of what is called, coyly, “climate debt” – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever. And neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect will have any power whatsoever to take it back. That is how serious it is. I’ve read the treaty. I’ve seen this stuff about [world] government and climate debt and enforcement. They are going to do this to you whether you like it or not.

But I think it is here, here in your great nation, which I so love and I so admire – it is here that perhaps, at this eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second, you will rise up and you will stop your president from signing that dreadful treaty, that purposeless treaty. For there is no problem with climate and, even if there were, an economic treaty does nothing to [help] it.

So I end by saying to you the words that Winston Churchill addressed to your president in the darkest hour before the dawn of freedom in the Second World War. He quoted from your great poet Longfellow:

Humanity with all its fears,
With all the hopes of future years,
Is hanging breathless on thy fate!

Self Correction

As another follow up to the post I did on teacher-craft, Weeping for Zion has a great post pertaining to the acquisition of worldly knowledge and the spiritual costs associated therein.

Institutional Self Correction

In an earlier post I mentioned how one of my ancestors from my fathers side of the family was responsible for introducing a false doctrine into the LDS theology. It had to do with the belief that Adam is the literal spiritual father of Jesus Christ and the only God with which we have to do.

I noted that another ancestor of mine from my mothers side of the family who was a bishop living in southern Utah challenged the doctrine sometime after it was originally taught.

After he passionately argued his case and showed how the doctrine was not a sound doctrine and how it clearly contradicted the word of God, he got his hands slapped by the first presidency. But shortly after that, the leadership of the church began instructing people to quit teaching the doctrine.

Within a few generations after that most members of the Church were not even familiar with the false doctrine that had been taught.

One of the points I wanted to make in that article is that even though the law of common consent was never allowed to challenge the initial introduction of that blasphemous doctrine, the church was able to eventually "self correct" and weed that doctrine out as a result of feedback from members.

Originally the law of common consent was given as a checks and balances measure by which the church membership could challenge the introduction of a false doctrine or the sustaining of false brethren.

Unfortunately the doctrine of common consent has become corrupted. It is now assumed that those in charge don't make mistakes... or at least that members are not at liberty to challenge any mistakes that are made by the leadership.

Anytime a member refuses to sustain someone in a calling or the introduction of a new doctrine, this law of common consent is simply used to identify those who are unwilling to support and sustain the leaders. Those unwilling to vote in the affirmative are branded as dissenting voices or even apostates.

Nevertheless, there is still an informal form of common consent that takes place within the church.. it take place in the form of articles and internet chatter from members and non-members alike.

I believe that the church leadership and those paid to serve on the various committees that are responsible for creating LDS lesson manuals are very much aware of criticisms that are being voiced and often times this feedback is responsible for the softening or even reversals in the doctrines that are taught in the official teaching manuals endorsed by the Church.

The Contrarian Mormon blog has an incredible post showing recent changes that have been made in the Gospel Principles Manual that the church publishes. There is a very clear effort to reduce the emphasis on carnal commandments and outward works and return to emphasizing faith, faithfulness and grace.

I believe that is another example of "self correction" that the church is going through.

I see that as a very positive sign from a doctrinal point of view.

Arch Bishop Ussher & Oct 23

Was the world created 6,012 ago this month?

I don't think so... but apparently Arch Bishop Ussher did.

"... the author of the book frequently described as the greatest history book ever written theorized the world was created Oct. 23, 4004 B.C. – making it 6,012 years old this month...

In the 1650s, an Anglican bishop named James Ussher published his "Annals of the World," subtitled, "The Origin of Time, and Continued to the Beginning of the Emperor Vespasian's Reign and the Total Destruction and Abolition of the Temple and Commonwealth of the Jews." First published in Latin, it consisted of more than 1,600 pages."

Needless to say, I don't believe that mortal probation ended 12 years ago. This world still needs to be warned by God's authorized servants before probation ends. Once it ends, we will all know it... the world will not continue on, business as usual.

I am however, always happy to jump on board in the hope that a particular date could have significance... so, in hopes that the good Bishop is just 12 years off from identifying an important year and month, I figure October 2009 is as good a time as any to hope for as far as the return of the servants is concerned...

I sometimes love to search modern revelation according to dates they were given.

Very few revelations ever came in the month of October for some strange reason, however I found it interesting that out of over 100 published revelations that came during a six year period of time, only three of them contain the following phrase,

"Prepare ye the way of the Lord, and make his paths straight"

Two of the three revelations containing this phrase were given in the month of October. The other one was given November 3rd!

Could the servants who return in the spirit of Elijah to prepare the way for the Masters return be coming in late October or early November?

.. just a thought.

While all three revelations are addressing the return of the servants, one of them is of particular relevance...

Simply do a key phrase search to identify these three revelations.

"....I saw the multitudes of the earth, that they were gathered together to fight against the apostles of the Lamb"

I have posted three articles by other people on my other blog site..

I read all of these articles many many years ago. I suspect most of you have read some of them as well.

While I don't necessarily agree with all of the interpretations and conclusions contained in these articles, they were helpful to me in viewing things through a wider lens and in getting a broader context for the restoration movement... ultimately, they helped me to connect a few more dots.

I would classify some of the content as meat rather than milk for those not feeling like they are ready for such.

Two of these articles pertain to the mystical life and calling of Joseph Smith.

They are,

"Joseph Smith, America's Hermetic Prophet" by Lance Owens

The third has to do with the mysterious death of Brigham Young.

Few people realize that he was probably poisoned to death. That article is titled,

"Who Done It?" by S W Taylor

I recently got an email from someone asking the following question,

"Speaking of the 3rd watch, do you interpret Matthew 28:19-20 to be a command to the twelve that will ultimately be fulfilled in the 3rd watch, or "unto the end of the world"? That is, will the original twelve apostles also be coming back with JS et al.?"

My response was, in essence, as follows,

"Yes I think the apostolic mandate to go forth in power to all nations, baptizing those who believe, that was given to all three quorums of the 12, (meridian, Nephite and last laborers), is 3rd watch."

I am currently doing a passage by passage commentary on the Book of Revelation which was motivated by a recent discussion pertaining to the fact that Christ "completes the salvation of man" BEFORE the paradisaical millennium.

As I was studying chapter 19 yesterday I noticed the following passages,

"Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all who fight against the Lamb both bond and free, both small and great.

19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army."

When I came to the above passages in chapter 19 I was reminded of a few pertinent passages in the Book of Mormon pertaining to a great event when the wicked gather to make war with Christ and his righteous army,

"And it came to pass that I beheld that the great mother of abominations did gather together multitudes upon the face of all the earth, among all the nations of the Gentiles, to afight the againstLamb of God.
14 And it came to pass that I, Nephi, beheld the power of the Lamb of God, that it descended upon the saints of the church of the Lamb, and upon the covenant people of the Lord, who were scattered upon all the face of the earth; and they were aarmed with brighteousness and with the cpower of God in great glory."(1 Nephi 14)

"....I saw the multitudes of the earth, that they were gathered together to afight against the apostles of the Lamb; for thus were the twelve called by the angel of the Lord.
35 And the multitude of the earth was gathered together; and I beheld that they were in a large and spacious abuilding, like unto the building which my father saw. And the angel of the Lord spake unto me again, saying: Behold the world and the wisdom thereof; yea, behold the house of Israel hath gathered together to bfight against the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
36 And it came to pass that I saw and bear record, that the great and spacious building was the apride of the world; and it bfell, and the fall thereof was exceedingly great. And the angel of the Lord spake unto me again, saying: Thus shall be the destruction of all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, that shall fight against the twelve apostles of the Lamb." 1 Ne. 11: 34-35

Those amazing passages are prophesying about the great fall of Babylon that is about to take place.

Notice how the 12 apostles return to the earth during this time.

This provides another great testimony of the doctrine of three watches.

Following the passages in chapter 14 we are informed that AFTER the wrath of God is poured out upon the mother of harlots, the WORK OF THE FATHER SHALL COMMENCE.

Chapter 11 informs us that the first laborers of the last kingdom will certainly not be the only ones returning. They will be joined by many of the great and noble servants from other dispensations... including the 12 apostles of the meridian of time.

Amazing.

Anthony Larson recently brought to my attention an article he wrote some time ago that addresses, among other things, the topic of my previous post regarding science and the educational institutions of this world.

He points out that while some limit the definition of the great and abominable church to that of the Catholic Church and others identify it as government, a compelling case can be made for modern science and the institutions of learning that it has spawned.

As I perused his article, it was so good that I kept copying and pasting bits and pieces of it to share with you and when I got done I had copied most of his article... and felt guilty about not copying the parts I hadn't copied... that is how good and well thought out I felt it was!

DNA and the Book of Mormon

From time to time people ask me about the DNA and the Book of Mormon controversy.

My short answer to people usually has to do with the absurdity of taking modern science seriously when the scriptures are so clear about how sinful and evil it is to put our trust in the arm of flesh.

Years ago I worked for a company that provided very sophisticated medical technology to hospitals. At a conference I attended, I remember sitting in a meeting where one of the researchers for a large medical equipment manufacturer stated that medical knowledge was doubling every four years and that every four years they new research determines that about 20-40% of what they had previous assumed as being truth is proven to be erroneous.

In a video I recently watched I was impressed with an acknowledgment by William Tiller who said,

"Science doesn't give you truth, all it can determine is internal self consistency... that's all science can do" (10:05 into the video)

Although putting ones trust in the arm of flesh covers a broad spectrum, with following true or false prophets BLINDLY at the top of the list, I believe it also has reference to basing doctrinal and spiritual truth on the suppositions proposed by modern day science.

The acceptance of worldly learning by those who believe they are wise, even when it contradicts the holy word of God is a great sin .

I would submit to you that there is very little if any place for modern science in the quest for true, undefiled religion because spiritual gnosis cannot be obtained from science.

I believe God has given literate people all of the resources they need to prayerfully SEARCH the word of God and obtain the spiritual knowledge necessary to make the right decisions, enter into covenant with the Lord and eventually part the heavens when the fulness of the gospel is on the earth.

When it is not, there are usually still sufficient resources for us to search is word, pray, ponder and follow the light we have been given and thus be justified according to the time we live in and the amount of light available.

I acknowledge that modern inventions have been inspired of God and they play an important role in dispersing the written word.

The printing press was critical in bringing about the reformation.

Although I personally use computer and software technology to speed up my searching, I know that it can be done without technology, and frankly, if I didn't use technology, I would probably be forced to memorize passages instead of using my computer as my memory.

It has become a technological crutch that I have come to rely on.

I believe anyone with the believing blood of Israel in them who prayerfully studies and searches the scriptures with a prayerful heart under the influence of the Holy Ghost will uncover the magnificently deep and mystical teachings of the prophets in the four standard works and find them to be profoundly congruent with multiple levels.

Beyond that, knowledge from modern science is more of a hindrance than a blessing in the salvation of souls.

We can all experience the illuminating and testifying powers of the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Ghost without the need for modern science to dictate why historical events did or did not take place or why a doctrine is true or false.

Therefore, the thought of paying serious attention to what modern science has to say about anything, in such a way that it would affect ones testimony is beyond ridiculous to me.

When people start speaking of carbon dating, or archeology or DNA, as if the evidence it provides is reliable enough to base the eternal welfare of ones soul on, it just doesn't register with me...

Those of us that have spent years searching God's word and basking in the warmth of the Holy Spirit, have a gnosis that transcends the worldly learning of modern science. We just don't find it relevant at a level where it could ever come close to affecting our testimonies as long as we keep out hands firmly attached to the iron rod.

True religion and the mystery of Godliness and the spiritual dimension that is attainable by believing in God and taking his word literally, has never made sense to many of those who are highly educated in what Brother Brigham used to refer to as the schools and universities of the Gentiles.

The following statement is attributed to him. I recall reading it years ago in the Journal of Discourse but I cannot find the exact reference now,

"The four pillars that uphold the devil's kingdom are doctorcraft, lawyercraft, priestcraft and kingcraft." (Journal of Discourses).

I would submit that the foundation on which those four pillars rest is teachercraft in our modern gentile educational system.

It is our modern education system that cultivates the "crafts" that Brigham despised so much.

While scientific evidence is not the foundation upon which a spiritual testimony can be based, it does play a valid role in many facets of our society today including the legal system that we have come to love so much (lawyer-craft)

Ironically, it was the desire to circumvent the teachings and biases of our Babylonian school system that inspired the inception of Brigham Young University, a school that recently tried to silence and then distance itself from a professor for trying to present evidence that would suggest the possibility that there might be a cover up, possibly leading to the conclusion that conspiratorial traitors within our government might have been involved in, or run interference for those who might have orchestrated a false flag terrorist event.

Brigham may well have inherited his disdain for lawyers, doctors, priests and politicians from Joseph Smith.

Joseph Smith recognized the growth and progress that came from his life of adversity and likened himself to a rough stone while publicly acknowledging his dislike for secular priests, lawyers, doctors, editors and others educated in those crafts by the worldly educators.

The only polishing I get is when some corner gets rubbed off by coming in contact with something else, striking with accelerated force against religious bigotry, priestcraft, lawyer-craft, doctor-craft, lying editors, . . . backed by mobs, blasphemers, licentious and corrupt men and women--all hell knocking off a corner here and a corner there. Thus I will become a smooth and polished shaft in the quiver of the Almighty. [Teachings, p. 304]

Having finished my little rant, I will say that from time to time I do enjoy watching the jousting between LDS apologists and anti-Mormon scoffers as the declarations from both sides often relies so heavily on the current assumptions made by modern science.

I recently enjoyed viewing this interview with Steve Smoot regarding the DNA issue. The tail end of the previous video (#10) has some interesting info pertaining to the topic as well, including the curious useage of the french word adieu in the Book of Mormon.

By the way, I am not saying that there is not a place for religious apologetics and for addressing the claims of science.

I think that those who are weak in the faith can be sustained and buoyed up for a time until they get to a level where they no longer need to function on borrowed light and their doubts based on supposed circumstantial evidence fades and the spiritual message of the gospel from God's WORD becomes that dominate light.

I am also not suggesting that highly educated people are categorically evil or that they categorically don't view the gospel through spiritual eyes.

I do believe that secular learning takes its toll on the faith and spirituality of many people that are initiated into the system... but not all.

There are few people I respect more than the ones I have met that come from highly educated backgrounds yet have managed to retain their childlike faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

These people are amazing to me. They process huge amounts of information that enables them to earn a living in todays modern world yet they continue faithfully believing and hanging on to the iron rod and search the scriptures deeply and often, not because they are obligated to teach a lesson in church, but because they are internally motivated to feast on the word of God.

I am aware of several readers and contributors to this post that are amazingly childlike and believing despite the education that have acquired.

On of them is a highly trained health care professional who continually testifies of Christ to the patients he treats.

We also have a scientist and also an engineer who both continually feast on the simple gospel of Christ and who provide lots of insight and critique to these posts.

I have huge respect for these people because their secular education and worldly learning are only a means to an end and have not adversely affected their spiritual progression.

Nevertheless, I consider these unusual and amazing people to be exceptions to the rule.

The teachings of Babylon have taken their toll on many people who have lost their faith as a result of their schooling.

Although our government seems to be terrified of constitutionalists, patriot groups, state militias, homeschooling families and other such radicals and is trying to find ways to restrict and contain them, there are some real terrorists that seem quite welcome and protected in America
